Trying to decide on a tablet for 4&6 year old girls.. What do y’all think?
    Thank you!
    Happy thanksgiving!

We bought my 3yr old son the Amazon Fire, when it was 33.00 for Prime Day, totally worth it, for the few apps and ebooks and to use for Amazon video. Great buy!

Anna, we’ve been very pleased with Fire tablets for our kiddos ages 4, 8, and 10. Ours haven’t been treated gingerly and have seen a lot of use. They’ve been awesome for us and we feel they’re a great value for the price. We have the older 7″ Fires currently, but are upgrading to the new 8″. We’re looking forward to the SD card slots in the newer versions, as kids can fill storage quickly!

My kids have kindles- love them. Went through a couple leap pads and i just feel like they’re a money trap.

My 4 year old has the 7″ fire tablet with 8 GB. We then bought a micro SD card when on sale to add storage. She loves it! Fairly sturdy, and you can’t go wrong for $33! Also Amazon prime members can subscribe to use their wide selection of apps, games and books for 2.99 per month. She can also watch the kids movies I have purchased through the fire stick on my prime account through the subscription platform.

Awesome! Thanks for the helpful feedback Heather! Good to know!

Does anyone know how long these prices will last?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Only for a limited time.

So what’s the difference between Fire tablet and Kindle e-readers?

    • MrsRodney

The e-reader is just for reading books/newspaper/magazines. The fire is a tablet. You can download movies, apps, surf the Internet, email….plus read.
