Got a Nerf bow for my daughter from SYW website. Got $12 in surprise SYW points. The bow was on sale for $12.49. And apparently I had 49 cents in points from a previous purchase. Total paid was $0. Free shipping. Was a totally unexpected score on an item my daughter actually wanted.

Stayed home, used a $50 gift card from kohls, that I paid $35 at cvs (after xbucks),bought a $150 knife set for $50 and a half price tablecloth, Grand total after discounts 52 dollars, so paid 2, and got $15 kohls cash plus sending in 10 dollar rebate for knives. So, spent 50, minus 15, minus 15, minus 10. $5 in the end. Bought 1 pair of Foster Grant readers and got 2 free at Rice aid.

    • Christy

Is that gift card deal still on at cvs?

Target had 30% off clothes plus 15% off cartwheel plus 5% off with red card. Got amazing deals on pajamas for my kids, shirts and dresses for me for $8-$10 and really nice flannels for my husband for $11. We normally shop Nordstrom and Macy’s but their quality has really improved at target and I found some super cute stuff!

    Oh man, I may have gone overboard this year? Most of my shopping was done online, but I did go to the mall last night just for fun. :}

    1. Ordered a bunch of clothes from Old Navy with a giftcard I bought at 20% off. A pair of pants for me, some pants for the baby, and a CUTE sherpa vest (technically boys) for my daughter. A few other things, too.

    2. Macy’s – did a bunch of $5 MAC littles to get the MMoney. I’m probably going to use it for either a cuisinart or dutch oven. Yay! Also from Macy’s: waffle maker, hand blender, set of pyrex, & wok, all with rebates to send in.

    3. Sears. Not technically a BF deal, but I got 2 $60 gingham shirts by Land’s End for 75% off. They’re so cute and perfect for next summer.

    4. American Apparel. I am a huge sucker for this brand. Their BF sale is an additional 50% off sale… I got a dress and modal/cotton top for myself, and two polos and a sleeveless shirt for my husband. $60 for $200+ worth.

    5. Walmart. I got a $30 tub of Duplo for our kids now, and a $30 tub of Lego to add to our stash for when they’re older. :}

    6. Hanna Andersson Outlet. I got two pairs of plain leggings ($10/ea, which is 50% off… not the BEST deal, but decent), a dress ($18, regular price $52), a t-shirt ($10), and a pair of PJ’s that was randomly on the clearance rack for THREE DOLLARS. More than 90% off! It’s in my daughter’s current size, but the print is too super girly (for my taste) so I think I’ll give it to my neice for xmas.

Last year I bought a ton of stuff I never used/regretted. This year I feel like I did a good job getting sweet deals on things I actually want for our family. Yay!

All online shopping here. I’m pretty excited about the Diono Radian RXT car seats we ordered from Kohls. We saved $60 in gas buying gift cards at our local grocery store. Now we are strategically planning the use of our $150 in Kohls cash 🙂 I hope we find some amazing deals next week, too!

  22. Fran

I’m looking for a new counter top microwave. Any suggestions for good deals? I’d like a mid-size. My old one just died and I’m lost without it!

    • Sarah Wadsworth

Try Macy’s (if you can get the website to work) or Best Buy both had $39.99 deals. That’s the best I have seen. I’m looking too.

  23. Brianna

I only had a trip to the grocery store on my Black Friday shopping list today and I got several huge party platters (veggie, fruit, deli meats and cheese, cute sandwiches, antipasto, etc) marked for $1.55 each. I thought it was a mistake, but they were made for Thanksgiving for someone who ordered and never picked them up.

    • Becky

      That’s a great deal!

  24. Hilary

Privacy Pops are 30% off, so I was able to get one for each of the girls. They’ve been begging for them.
Our Wii broke a few months ago, and even though we have an Xbox One, they miss the Wii. GameStop had a refurbished bundle for $50.

    • JA

Had to look up the Privacy Pops and darn are they cute! My kids would love them. I’m afraid to show them what they are!

  25. Amy

Went to Carter’s this morning and they were handing out secret gift cards to use at check out. I guess the average was $5, but I got a $50 card! My total had been $59, so I only paid $9 for 2 pairs of pajamas, 2 fleece sweatshirts, 2 pairs of leggings, some gloves, and 3 long sleeve shirts!

  26. JA

Got a pair of boots for my daughter at Kohl’s for $8.49 and fleece lined leggings for $1.69. Also got the Bath and Body Works b3g3 sale. Stacked a $10/30 with 2 free coupons and split in with my sister-in-law. We each got 4 items for $17.50 per person. Most of all, we had FUN!

  27. Leigh

Zoya nail polish! There’s a code for 70% off everything! Yay

  28. Jeanie

I stayed home and shopped online. I got a Lego Princess Belle Enchanted Castle set from Kmart for $16 and change. I had an email for $20 off $35 purchase. The Lego set was $39.99, used the $20 off and the extra $4.25 I had in rewards. Shipped free for less than $17!!

  29. Sally Spencer

i went to Walgreens and got the $30 itunes gift pack (3-$10 cards) which qualified for a free $10 walgreens gift card. I love the (3)$10 itunes cards for gifts for kids, and a $10 walgreens for me. win. win. win. win.

Still waiting for Cyber Monday 😉 I’m so proud of myself!

    • Alice

I waited for Cyber Monday to do my shopping last year and regretted it because I could have bought several items on my list cheaper online on Black Friday. Just wanted to pass along the info. Happy holidays!

  31. mamaof6

Instant Pot for my hubby for his birthday (which is today). I was able to score the one from walmart for $59. I was super excited that I got it that cheap =)

  32. Lauren Jaclyn

Scored a kitchen aid professional mixer from Macy’s. Originally $720-reduced 50% and then an additional 40%. Came to approximately $160. AND expecting $30 back from opening up a credit card. Final price: $130!!!!

  33. L

I bought a pair of lounge pants for 20 cents at JCPenney last night. They were on clearance for $10.19. I had a 10/10 coupon. So I paid 19 cents plus 1 cent sales tax.

  34. Cindy S

A 65″ 4K Ultra HD TV for $799, with $240 Kohl’s cash, $40 Yes2You rewards, and $65 back from eBates, making final cost around $500. The Zoya deal was pretty nice too!

  35. Gretchen

NOTHING! Just walked out of kohls because there was a 2 hr wait to checkout! Very smart all of you to stay home! ( handed all my kohls in store coupons to people in line though, so hopefully made their day.)

  36. Laurie Beck Leary

I am SO excited that the WiiU Bundle I purchased on 11/1 with the 30% off (and was canceled bc it was out of stock) was price honored today when I saw they were in stock again. I called JCP and without even asking, the associate saw what I had paid on the canceled order and gave me that price. It was more like a Black Friday miracle!!

  37. Jennifer Brown

I got the zoomer Chimp that my daughter wanted for $40 SHIPPED through Toys R Us with the sale that you posted and a gift card i had! THANK YOU Collin and team!

  39. Casey

I got my favorite deal online at Kohl’s yesterday. I was able to get my mom a really nice winter coat for about $13 after using two $10 mailer coupons, rewards and 15% off. Not bad for a $140 coat! I also got some really good clothing deals at Sears. They had nfl gear 40% off and then I got an additional 30% off so I am a happy woman.

  40. Casey

I’m so happy that I was able to get 4 orders to Kohl’s early Monday morning to use the 20% off and $10 off $50 codes. I figure I saved about $38 compared to if I had bought at just the 15% that everyone gets later. Also happy to get all the Rite Aid and CVS freebies today without too much out of pocket money.

  48. Claudia

Women’s Adidas Neo Baseline sneakers for my teenage daughter is $65. The youth boy’s sneakers (exactly the same) were $45.99. I converted her size to youth size, used my $20 off $49.95 rewards coupon from DSW and paid a total of $26.80 (tax included). I chose store pickup (store is 6 miles away) to save on shipping 😀

  49. Ann

I won a $500 GC at JCPenney’s!!!! Blew my mind on what to get, after all said and done, regretted not getting a couple of those comfortable slippers as gifts. Had to put some towel sets back because we max out $500!! All I wanted was an electric kettle, which they didn’t have. I got a bunch of clothes, coats, shoes, (3) sheet sets, and a couple jewelry. Prices were not an issue. I was more stressed at figuring out what to get to meet the requirement of must spend the full amount of the GC and there were numerous restrictions like no Nike items, etc. Total saved $1,087.73!!

    • Alex

How do you convert it to kids sizes? I bought the same exact pair in a women’s 7 on Black Friday and didn’t even realize you could get the same size in kids.

    • Alex

How did you convert to child sizes? I bought the same exact pair on Black Friday in women’s sizes and didn’t realize I could convert and save even more money.

  50. Alison

I was just now able to get an ipad mini 2 online from Walmart for $199!!
