This trike is AWESOME. When the child pedals backwards it clicks so that they can get a start to push again. Kids do not get as frustrated because they can’t make that next big push. My child on the spectrum has learned to ride a tricycle (something that is typically very hard for them to learn how to do). It did not happen over night, but we had the trike for about 7-8 months before it all clicked, but now rides it with ease.
