If you shop in store, there was $3.00 Ball/Kerr coupon a couple weeks ago. This morning, I bought a 12 pk Ball pint jars for around $3.50!!

    • 3v3y

Was the coupon online or in an insert?
      Thanks!

      • Iza

I do have the printable one which expires on the 30th of this month. But I know that there is an insert one too!

      • Kelly

I found the coupons in the Sunday paper inserts.

        • pat

          do you remember which insert/date?

          • Kelly

            Sorry. I don’t remember.

$3.00/1 – Ball or Kerr Glass Jars Case from SS 10/9. These coupons were only available in some areas tho. My paper didn’t have them and I live in the LA area.

      Great score! Thanks for sharing!

What do we do use these jars for?

    • Kelly

I use mine for canning. Today I am pressure canning turkey stock.

    • Amy

I’ve seen some people make homemade scrubs and put them in these jars for gifts. We use the 4 oz. jars to display a small memento from our annual family vacation.

    • Emily

I layer cookie ingredients and use the Shutterfly free card deals to print the recipes on and give as gifts for the kid’s teachers

  4. Ap

I use mine for making candles, body scrubs, lotions, and dry mixes (like cookie and soup mixes) for Christmas gifts!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cool! Thanks for the feedback!

  5. Steph

Thanks picked it up to make our homemade gifts this year. My hubby’s amazing hot chocolate recipe and sugar scrub for my girlfriends.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome!

I saw a clever idea for baking banana bread in these! I plan on ordering a set and giving them as small gifts for neighbors & teachers. The jars can be accented with material & bows, and a label, etc.(Only WIDE mouth jars can be used for baking banana bread) There are actually a million & one super cute Mason jar gift ideas – cookie mixes, soup mixes, hot chocolate mixes, etc, etc.

  9. JAY

Thanks! I bought the half pint ones for our kids’ Christmas party. They make reindeer food and I needed to restock these this year.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Cute! You’re welcome Jay!

You can buy plastic one piece lids….I just found out myself and got some at walmart. They are much easier to use!!

  12. Sandra

I purchased some today! They were actually on sale for 20% off (Ball canning products), plus almost everything was an additional 15% off, and I used the $3.00 off coupons (limit 4) that were in the newspaper. They were practically free! Lol

  14. dre

    • JenniferS

  16. Maggie

    Britt,
Is there a $3.00 promo code for use online? Would like to ship to someone as a thank you.

I am never able to use the links you add for Target. I always get a message saying the product is unavailable. Same thing if I just add it in the search bar on the Target website. However, if I go the long way (through each category), I can find it. Anyone else ever have this trouble?
