I see it as $249 through the target link, am I missing something?

    • Kimberly (Stylish Sidekick)

Hi Alyssa! The Target price will automatically drop at checkout, as they are offering an automatic 15% off your purchase through tomorrow. 🙂

      • Alyssa

        Thank you!

Anyone know if this will go on a better sale anywhere for cyber monday?

I’m thinking of getting a gaming system for our four kids for Xmas. Can anyone compare this to a wii? I know nothing about the different systems. Thanks!

    • Meredith

      Shelly,
I’m wondering the same thing. Any ideas?

    • Alyssa

I didn’t either and I’ve asked around. We have a Wii, but they aren’t making many new games for the Wii. People have told me that the Xbox is better for sports type games (for all ages), but also has more mature games that are better for older kids. I compared it to PS4 and the resounding answer was that the Xbox One was better. HTH!

We have a PlayStation, Xbox and the Wii consoles in our household. I have two 15 yr olds, a 6 yr old, and a husband who all play video games, even me. We all gravitate to the Xbox. If a new game is offered on both the PS and Xbox we always get the Xbox version. The Xbox One S version is now smaller and lighter. The main game my 6 yr old plays is Minecraft but we have Lego games, racing games, and Plants vs. Zombies that he enjoys playing. My kids also have DS systems (3DS and 2DS). To me the DS offers more game play than the Wii. They use their DS systems to play Pokémon and Mario games.

This is better than the deal with the $40 Target gift card. How would that work if I returned it?

    • Kristin

It’s actually not a better deal. I just looked to repurchase and return to see. With subtracting the Black Friday gift card I paid $213.78 shipped. This deal that is listed here doesn’t include the tax, so at checkout it actually shows up as $218.52. I personally shop at Target for just about everything, so the out-of-pocket up front doesn’t bother me too much. I don’t think the Target egift cards can be returned, though.

When I called customer service for a price adjustment on a train set (the day they offered 30%off all toys) I was told that they couldn’t do it because it was now a different price, but that they would do it one time because I’m “a valuable customer” it’s worth a shot calling them

If you buy the Xbox..it gives you 10 bucks off the controller, which is on sale. Sweet deal made sweeter. Gotta have 2 controllers anyway. ☺

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Cassidy!

I see Target listing on sale for $249.99. Am I missing something?

    • Lane

I’m sorry I see, after the tax it brings up the price.

Just tried to buy online and it says limited quantities available so only available at the stores now…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I am finding that now as well. Thanks for the heads up!
