Thank you Collin and team! My 8yr old daughter will be smiling from ear to ear when Santa gifts her with this beauty~
What a fantastic idea!! I love that she’s interested in sewing. It’s such a wonderful skill to pass on. This looks like a nice starter machine for a child
I just got one for my 9 year old niece! She’s going to be over the moon.
Aww, that’s great to hear Stacie! You’re welcome! 😉
Oh wow at such a young age ! Still thinking if to buy at this price or not 🤔
I want this for myself, I’ve always wanted to learn how to sew but want to start small & not spend too much just to learn 🤔
i learned on a similar machine. not this model–i purchased my starter Brother years ago 🙂
so i taught myself in college. it was a GREAT starter machine, and EASY to use and had all the basic functions needed, and that machine lasted with heavy use for well over 10 years. then i passed it along to a cousin to learn on.
i would recommend Brother machines. i went on to major in fashion design!
i think i’ll be buying this for my daughter (10 yrs old) for Christmas!
I want to get one for my mom, but I never bought refurbished item before . Can someone tell me if you are allow to return the item if you don’t like it ?
Yes you can return
Thank you :]. Just ordered one
Got one for my 10 year old daughter! She is gonna love it!
Awesome! Happy you could score this for her Ashley!
Does anyone know how hard this is to thread? I read the description and it said manual threading. My mom has so much trouble with that. Perhaps this isn’t a good machine for her?
I have this model. I dont have much issue with threading after some practice, but my motherinlaw had a bit of trouble with it. Id say if your mother has pretty good eyesight, go for it. From others’ comments, it sounds like you can return.
I totally recommend this product, i love it! Haven’t broken it yet!
I had this and while it’s a good starter (especially for this price), it does tend to have a fussy tensioner. I’m constantly adjusting it because of jamming. The foot that holds the clothing down often likes to fall off too (but pops back on easily). I’m a little surprised this machine has the Brother name on it.
Thanks for the feedback Holly!
Is this good for hemming?
My Walmart in my area has it $49 New 🙂
