Can anyone tell me about Xbox Live? My 11 year old is getting an Xbox One (thanks for Collin’s post today!) and I need another controller. I don’t know anything about the Live part. I don’t want him to be able to talk to randoms online! Help!
He shouldn’t be able to actually talk to them if he doesn’t have a headset. The Xbox live or the playstation plus cards are for you to be able to play online with others. If he doesn’t have the cards he can’t play most games fully. An example is the destiny game. He would be able to play but not play with others. Only bots in the game. But if you have them ge can play with others and you can also message each other in the systems. You can still chat with others if you have them as a friend and I don’t believe you need the Internet pass to be able to chat online to real people
