This is a fantastic price!! We used this to train our oldest & will be using it again for our little girl. These seats are great.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Thanks for the great feedback April!

    That child looks 5

    • dealgirl

My son is 5. She looks 3.

    • Aisha

And? Sometimes 5 year olds are still potty training.

    • JA

I would say about three. And sometimes older kids have tiny bums and are afraid they are going to fall in. And maybe the girl is five, and happened to be the only model they could get for this particular advertisement so they used her and hoped that everyone would look at the product and not the people. 😉

My son has medical issues with his bowels and he turned four recently and still have not been able to potty train him. NOT at all what I had expected to happen and not for lack of trying! It’s heartbreaking for me as the parent. I previously would have judged a child not potty trained at this age- but know now there are circumstances beyond a child’s control at times. Please know everyone is just trying their best! <3

My son will be 5 next month and still uses a kid toilet seat for when he goes poop. He has a fear of falling in.

  3. Emily

We have had ours for years, it’s been used by 3 kids…great item.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great to hear that Emily! Thanks for sharing!

  4. Laura

Great seat! Needed another one of these–thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Laura!

In case anyone wants an alternative, we used “Mommy’s Helper” contoured cushion step up and it was a god send. It folds up and lays flat against the wall. My daughter when she got a little older could put it on the toilet and climb on all by herself. Amazon has it for $18 and they have a great video showing how to use it. I feel like telling everyone I know how awesome this potty was because it truly saved me in the training years. Hope this helps someone out there. Merry Christmas!

I love how easy to clean the seat is but hated the height of splash guard. My son would pee all over the place every time he use it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer 🙁 Sorry to hear that Jessi! Thanks for the honest review!

  7. Darcie

I’m getting charged $5.99 shipping for Babies R Us.? Also, the Amazon one is no longer available.

    • Darcie

Became available again on Amazon and I got it!

We actually bought a new toilet seat at Home Depot or Lowes that is a two in one seat that has a potty training seat and an adult seat in one. The potty seat flips up and stays magnetically connected to the lid when the adult seat is in use. I highly recommend this if you have frequent kid visitors that are in the potty training or small booty club. It was $30 I believe and my kids are all over six now but it comes in handy.

    • Freckle53

We have those seats in all our bathrooms too. Love them. My youngest thinks he’s hot stuff and balances without them now, but they’re there if he,or any visiting little ones, need a smaller seat.

    • Brittany

Small booty club… Hehe made me giggle! I am looking at getting one of those seats – nice to hear the positive feedback!

Walmart sells toddler training seats just like this one with diffrent characters $12…I got a lion King one for my son with a plastic hook that goes right one side of potty he’s 4 and still uses it for comfort of not falling in…..
