my store was a MESS on tuesday, i was kinda disappointed. especially the wrapping paper. all of the multi-packs were ripped open, i ended up mixing & matching and switching out two. i wish i would’ve asked at the register for maybe 75% off instead of just 50% as they were a bit ripped and obviously open already. also i wish they would focus more on getting the clearance stuff organized so more will be sold instead of putting valentines day items out right away!

fyi the joann store i was in an hour ago has their wrapping paper 75% and there were tons of really good sized rolls. character and non-character.

    • Misty

Yeah, JoAnn’s is always a good option. Too bad there isn’t one close to me and I’m not off today!

  2. Ming

Yay! What i’ve been waiting for. Went to target yesterday still 50% so im holding back fo stocking up 😊 Thank you! I will visit target again today. Do you know aanythin about Walmart, Collin? Thanks again

  3. Mike

How many days usually they keep the %70 before they have %90

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It can vary a bit by store as to how quickly they discount.

  4. Julia

My store was wiped out at 50%. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer! 🙁

  5. Stephanie

Anyone know how much off at hobby lobby?

    • Robyn

My hobby lobby is 80% off.

    • Gina

My Hobby Lobby was 66% off the week before Christmas.

    • Aubrey

Hobby Lobby is 80% off everywhere, I got the email this morning. SO much great stuff left!

      • stephanie

Awesome! Thanks so much! Going to head there soon then!

  6. Sarah Nadeau

  7. Lo

  8. elise

Anyone know if walmart has gone 75%?

    • Peever

I was just there and ours is still at 50%.

    • Brittany

Mine in GA was at 50% this morning.

  9. Keri B

Our store had so much left when I was there on Tuesday. Tempted to go back but I honestly don’t know if there is anything I really need. I was just surprised how much they still had. Very curious what all is left now. They had a Christmas countdown I really liked

  10. Cassandane

My local stores were 70% today. Stocked up on Ziplock bags (gallon & quart) and Rubbermaid food storage tubs. Some were with Christmas, some were in the regular section. I’m guessing my area will be 90% on Sat, so I’ll be back for gift bags, tissue paper, curling ribbon, etc. !!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great finds!

    • Brittany

Forgot to check for those when I went earlier!

  11. Marcy

So bummed my target was wiped out 26th even my michaels had everything gone on Christmas Eve

  12. Ru

They had great items in the $1 bin. I got lots of packs of thank you cards and notepad sets to add to my teacher appreciation week stash. Between the 2 kids I have 7 teachers and it adds up! There’s plenty of stuff that doesn’t necessarily look ‘Christmassy’.
Also got a shortbread snowflake pan for $6, cookie cutters for 70 cents, a tablecloth for $5 etc. It was all over the store, some on the end caps, some in various aisles.

  13. Ru

Also forgot to add my store said 50% but when I checked under the price scanner, it was actually 70% off.

  14. Brittany

This is my first time shopping for Christmas clearance items, so I was a little excited from what I found in my area, since I had a goal in mind to spend only $20 or less for everything I purchase during the Christmas Clearance sale for all stores.

I went to Target earlier today right when they were changing the signs from 50% (30% Candy) to 70% (50% Candy). I had planned to hold off until 90% off, but saw a few items that there was only one left so grabbed them >_<. (1) 75 sq. ft. polar bear print wrapping paper for 75 cents, (1) 15 sq. ft. holiday word print wrapping paper for 30 cents, (1) mini blank planner calendar page/divider for 90 cents – surprise about this find – , (2) 14 ct. penguin and polar bear print glitter greeting cards for $2.10 each, (1) Scotch Expressions Pink Glitter for 60 cents, but Free b/c of $1 off coupon, and (1) medium size wire basket for $1.50.
On another note, I had the $3 off Axe gift set coupon and went to Walmart to get one since Target had none of the $9.99 for $4.99 4-pack edition set in stock I wanted to get for my brother.

Apologies for the long comment, but just wanted to share my finds. Happy hunting for everyone.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome finds Brittany! 😉

For those collecting school supplies, there are 10 ct packs of holiday pencils and 5 ct packs of erasers for $.30/each. I picked up wooden checker sets for $1.50, wooden toddler puzzles and winter hats for $.90. Great donation items,

I did notice that my local store let their stock dwindle over the season. There was no wrapping paper, gift tags or tape and a very small amount of gift bags left yesterday. In years past, I found wrapping paper at 90% off.

    • Seph

Thanks! Hoping to buy some for OCC next year

    • rob

I was just there & found cinnamon crunch star cereal & price checked it was 50% off and included in the buy 1 get 1 50% off sale fyi so $2 for 2 boxes.

  16. Julie

I got SO much for $20. Ribbon for 60 cents, dollar ornaments and a 50 pack of ornaments for $4.50. Plus 75 cent boxes packages and tissue paper. I even got a beautiful burlap/ fuzzy tree wrap for $12! Well worth it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great buys Julie!

  17. ohiogirl

I was surprised to find 18ct Vanity Fair Impressions Bowls on clearance for .89, reg. 2.99. Two were in the Christmas clearance and a few more in the regular paper goods aisle. These are not marked with any holiday packaging and the bowls are solid white.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up!

  18. Ming

Got so many good deals. Fury Tree skirt for 13.50, icicle lights for 2.39, ice bucket $7.5, paper plate $.87, etc. i don’t buy the gift wraps n holiday tags as my target has lots of it. Will try my luck when its marked down to 90%. Other than that, got many small stocking stuffers from 99 cents store for $0.25. I also purchased many ornaments from 99 cents store. All marked down to 25 cents 😊

Oot: my dollar tree has so many snackeez (star wars) the large n small sizes. Im so ready for my son next birthday party 😆

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How cool! Sounds like you had a great day of shopping! 😉

      • Ming

It’s thanks to your awesome posts and readers comment that i know about these great deals 😋

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, Super happy to hear that! 😀

  19. kait

    They were switching the signs from 30% to 70% as I was shopping today! That’s probably why there were so many items left. I got some candle sets, a throw blanket, and a weird faux fur stool that I couldn’t resist. There was lots of wrapping paper left, but it was all ugly to me so I passed. :}

  20. Kate

I went into Target to pick up items for Operation Christmas Child for next year. I love to shop the 70% off sale for these items. I found some very cute items from socks, to animal hats, small toys, and school supplies with a Christmas theme. When I walked out to my car someone had placed an envelop on my windshield with a Christmas card and Starbucks gift card. With a note saying please pass on this kindness to someone else for the holiday. It made me so happy to know I was in the store buying items for others and that someone was so kind to me.

    • Julia L.

      That’s beautiful!

  21. MB

My local Walmart in Charleston SC is supposedly going to 75% off tomorrow according to the cashier I spoke with today.

  22. Darcy

My target had an entire aisle of Nate Belisario decor and furniture at 70% off. I got a gold accent table for $23 and a cute red bench for $25, along with some other Christmas decor.

    • Darcy

      Nate berkus. Darn spell check.

  23. Lizmdz

Just FYI the items in the dollar spot at target are only 30cents. Lots of washi tape and thank you cards. If it’s Christmas stuff it’s 30cents.

  24. Dianne

Just wondering if anybody has gone and found 90% off today? Thanks…

    • Brittany

Not 90% in my area (I went to Target at 8AM and they told be that it was still 70%/50% there). I hear others saying it may be Sunday/next few days, or when there is little items left over.
