    Wow this is awesome 💜

    • Erica

Ty it was quite fun actually!!!!

  2. Lo

Wow! I scored a lot of small stuff and 2 Christmas trees for 6.70 each! Also got the tree dazzler so I hope that’s cool. My Pyrex was still $4.18 :(. Should’ve asked a worker to scan it.

    • Erica

My Pyrex were only .49 ! You’ve been had, so I’d take em in and ask for a price check… btw, are they the ones with blue snowflakes like in my picture?

      • Lo

I didn’t buy it. I think it had Christmas trees on it. A plain one is only $3.99 so yes it had to go Hahahaha

  3. Elaine

I bought sooo many pillows! Lol. Went a little nuts with the end tables and lamps too. Who can say no at those prices??

    • neen

Where were the end tables and lamps?! Were they mixed in with the regular aisles?

  4. dblD-amber

wow would have loved the jenga for summer partiea

    • Erica

Great minds think alike, that’s exactly what I wanted it for as well as camping ⛺️ so I grabbed it!

  5. Chrissy

Went to ours yesterday and they were wiped cleaned except for m&ms and candy canes. I did get the ring activity kit for my daughter for $.48.

  6. Yar

Congrats Erica!! Nice job! I’m glad you were able to find good items! At my target only candy is left for sale :/

    • Erica

Tysm! I never get a score like this lol but it sure feels good 😊

  7. Andrea

Wow! Mine didn’t have nearly that much left, but I did get 3 pairs of kids Christmas pajamas for $1.49-$1.69 each. They were mixed in with the regular clothes.

  8. Stephanie

I got a little bag of lego friends bowling for 39¢ 😜

  9. Sara

I was so thrilled to score Ziploc containers when they went 75% off at Target. .89c! 😀

  10. Sarah

I wondor if erika lives near me! Im in inwood WV and often shop at 3 targets, 2 in va and one in WV!

    • Erica

Sarah!!!!!!!!! Yes I’m in Inwood too… WOW small world 🌎

      • Jess

Lol Bunker Hill here! Guess I won’t be going to Target for clearance 😝

  11. Annie

Someone hid merchandise to get it at 90%

    • Brenda W

How would you “hide merchandise”? I always see employees working in the aisles and picking up abandon items.

    • Erica

That’s what I was wondering… DO tell, as I worked hard scouring the store and spent lotsa time price checking! No hide and seek here lol

    • Jennine

It happens. The clearance cosmetic bins at my Target were chalk full. It had spilled over behind the bins. Easy to see still. I was diggin for some chapstick Collin posted about yesterday. low and behold there was a bag of Lindt chocolate under the pile 😉

      • Erin

Well, some of the weird little stuff doesn’t make it back to the clearance section, and people price check and dump it and the employees may not know that it is holiday. I usually grab items I like then go to a quiet area of the store to price check and decide what I want. I found some of my best finds that way this year. There was a row of nearly empty shelves near a price scanner, so I scanned some of the stuff and was surprised to find a bunch of decor was 90%. This was yesterday when the store went 90% off. I suspect someone was shopping late Sunday night, price checked, and left it all on the empty shelves when it rang up 70%. Also, I found some Christmas clearance where it belonged on the shelves. The full price sticker was there and everything. I just happened to notice a tree matched a wreath I got, so I scanned, and it was clearance, too. All the holiday shirts I bought were in the clothing section. Usually my stores are on top of that stuff and move it all to the clearance area. Of course, usually the stores are significantly more wiped out, too! I figured the economy must be improving. I know I usually won’t buy any holiday clearance until 90 percent (unless I really “need” something), but this year I actually shopped at 70% off. I didn’t buy much, but I kinda wish I had waited just the same, LOL. I got a case of Scotch tape for .30 per double roll, which I figured would be as good as it got. Today, it was .10–ugh!

        • Lo

That’s what I do also. I also love the scanner areas cuz it’s where items go to die lol

    • Katherine

There is a small group of ladies in my area that will hide Christmas merchandise then try and go back to score the items at 90% off. Target employees have caught on over the years and really do a good job at checking in totes, behind things like crackers and cereal boxes. Just this morning I found a really nice hard back Christmas book hidden under the cookie sheets. It made it’s way back to the Christmas aisle 🙂

    • Bethany

I’ve heard of people stashing stuff in suit cases. I don’t do this personally as I think it’s dishonest. IMHO it’s along the lines of theft since you don’t want to buy it at the current price, you are preventing others from buying it at the current price——essentially ripping off the store. It’s so NOT in the holiday spirit. I’m literally stalking another store waiting for a price drop so I can get a bigger discount, but I’m not going to go hide things so that I can be selfish and prevent others from getting a deal. Just because I don’t want to pay the higher price doesn’t mean there are others who will.

    • Erin

Someone in my area posted in a Facebook group that they found FOUR storage ottomans full of xmas stuff. Some were on the top shelf too. Next time you are in search of xmas clearance be sure to check inside the ottomans. Apparently it’s a thing.

      • Nikki

oh my god i can’t believe people did that! I did however notice that there were some items in the regular baking aisle, and an employee never moved these beautiful shortbread baking dishes – they left them on the endcap with all the new valentines day things! i left everything where i spotted it and as soon as the store hit 90% i ran back and most of it hadn’t been moved 🙂 im surprised no ones posted about the cooking book, i found some really beautiful hardback books for 1.49, 1.50, and .50! These were scattered all over the store near cooking stuff, regular book clearance, and christmas clearance areas – they dont explicitly state Christmas but do say seasonal recipes.

      • Kalynn

Omg that’s awful!!! What is wrong with people?? It’s one thing to hide a shirt in another rack when it’s the last one in your size and you can’t get it that day, but FOUR OTTOMANS FULL OF STUFF?!!! Shame on them!!

        • Erin

I know! The pictures were funny. Wish I could share them!

  12. Dipz

I got just one you Carter’s fleece Christmas pajama for 0.99$ and paw patrol Santa’s little helper t-shirt for 0.89$!!

  13. Nicole S.

I went to mine this past Friday and they were putting up all the Christmas but I did sore some stuff for 75% off and Glad Press and Seal the guy gave me 13 rolls for .25 cents a roll regular price $ 3.29.I also got some quart zipper bags and some large ziplock containers.

  14. Indhu

    Spent $60 with tax , Saved $400

  15. Julie

I went this morning to return some things and didn’t look around! Now I want to run back 😭

    • Erica

Julie go for it girl there was a lot left! I’m unfortunately outta room and money 😝

  16. Sarah

Does anyone know when they might pull everything? It stinks if the item is found say next week and it comes up as “item not found”. I use to be able to get a ton for my classroom different seasons if I happened to find things…not anymore

    • Erica

Sarah, I was told by a GM it gets salvaged Friday!

      • Sarah

        Thank you!!

  17. Amanda H.

Some guy in front of me at checkout had 3 carts full of Christmas lights and they told him he saved over $3,000!

  18. Jenny

Our Target had nothing left last Thursday!

  19. Lee

So jealous — I am in Dallas, Fort Worth area and my target has just small things left and still marked 70% off.

    • Dee

I’m in DFW as well and i believe even though some stores were marked 70% they rang up at 90%!

  20. ohiogirl

Shoppers in my area are so savvy that one had better be at Target bright and early the day after Christmas to snag any Ziploc, Glad, Pyrex, Reynolds, Gillette, Mrs. Meyers or any of the other “good stuff”. Back in the good old days….10 years plus I could enjoy these awesome hauls. Oh how I miss those days 😉 So happy for those that still can. I live vicariously through you. Thanks for sharing!

    • Erica

I hear you!!!!! I was up and ready when Target 🎯 opened as I know the good stuff goes first and EARLY LOL I finally scored 😊

    • Happymama

Agreed! Where are you in Ohio? I’m just curious b/c this year I challenged myself to no after Christmas clearance and am not missing it! In years past, I always found odd things I never used and spent money I didn’t need to spend. I’m loving to see the stuff people are finding this year though 🙂

      • ohiogirl

I am in Canton, what about you? I do agree with you. It is too easy to get caught up in the thrill of the bargain. Last year I told myself I would not shop any after holiday clearance deals. Although I slipped a few times, I only bought what we would actually use. This year I bought wrapping paper 75% off at Walmart and last year bows 90% off at Target. I LOVE bargains, but read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up and it has changed my mindset…..somewhat – lol.

        • thehenrydthoreau

I bought a couple of ornaments, pencils and erasers for a charity I run. I do not want my home cluttered with the obscene amount of Christmas stuff that ends up on shelves.

        • Happymama

Central Ohio here. When wrapping gifts this year, I realized I had WAY to may bows…I mean like over 25 bags, LOL. I’m sure they were 90% off but still. My 3 year old wants to color Easter eggs, try on Halloween costumes, and want to look at Valentines every time we dig through my stashes, lol, I may have too much. Usually I set a goal of paying a bill off before Xmas but this year, my goal is to *try to* resist unnecessary clearance. I’ve never read that book but it sounds like it’s perfect timing! Thanks:)

  21. ResseCup

Darn, my target was pretty much wiped out last night. Plenty of wrapping paper and misc items.😩

  22. JAY

Our Target was wiped out even before Christmas! Crazy.

    • Nica

Thats awesome do you have the dcpi for alex toys artist studio travel art set? I would to pick up one for my son. Thanks

  23. crystal

I did really well this year. Spent my entire yesterday at 5 different targets hitting the 90% off. The best part of this haul this year is allot of the items were being marked down with Christmas that aren’t actually Christmas! I got gorgeous side tables at 90% off, and a fabric modern foot stool. I also got beautiful rustic large candle holders for 90% off and large fabric trays. Oh lets not forget the Bar cart I scored for $12 regularly $125! I couldn’t believe the finds. I also scored lots of Christmas items like lighted branches, fairy lights, furry blankets, etc. Perfect for my upcoming wedding

    • E

Oh wow. I would love to see pictures of the dcpi numbers for the tables and stools.

    • Erin

I noticed my stores had furniture and decor on Christmas clearance, too. I didn’t get furniture or those giant wooden candlesticks, but I did get quite a few wreaths, topiaries and arrangements for 90 percent off. A lot of it looked more “winter” than “Christmas” to me, plus I even found a few things that I plan on using for Valentines Day–the pinkish glass bowl and the matching serving spoons like those shown in the pic, the red fairy lights, a couple .50 dollar spot scalloped cake stands that I intend to paint and use as pedestals. I spent around $120 yesterday (which surprised the heck out of me because I didn’t think I liked much of this year’s holiday stuff), and another $48ish today, including a “minimalist lighted tree” for $14. Gotta go test that baby out. . . .

      • neen

Were the end tables and decor mixed in with the regular aisles?

        • Erin

          Both!

  24. Ashley

Don’t forget to check Starbucks up front. I bought 2 ornaments and a travel mug for less than $3 total.

  25. Katherine

Aside from the huge Febreze and Air Wick haul I made out with this morning (all 90% off, used $1.00 coupons), I also found Meyers Limited Edition cleaner and hand soaps (never tried the brand before, enjoying the cleaner so far). Westinghouse Timers and Wireless Remotes, $.49 to $1.09, Westinghouse Outdoor Extension Cord for $.59 pllus a few other odds and ends.

  26. Bee

The Pumpkin, Cranberry, and Apple Frebreze were all 30 cents at my store. I didn’t want to be greedy so I only bought 6 but there was probably 100 bottles left. Maybe I should run back in lol!!! 😂

  27. Luna

WOW! Nice haul! My target is practically cleared after the first day and i don’t think ours ever even makes it to 90% off, at most 70%!

I went with the husband and he was literally attached to my hip and say “No, no, no, no… Control yourself!” LOL. All I got was a cute baby xmas outfit for $3 for our bundle of joy coming in June!

  28. Renee Keeney

Jealous…Targets in utah stink! They have gotten worse over the years. It used to be fun to shop at Target.

    • Emily

Yeah, utah never gets to see the 90% off because of all the people snatching up clearance immediately after holidays! It’s a bummer!

      • LN

Im new to Utah and I”ve noticed that too. Even when I want to do couponing.

  29. Familyof7

I am headed to my target tonight. I hope it isn’t too wiped out. I want some good deals.

  30. Deb

Got a nice pair of women’s slippers for 50 cents today. That was about it at my store. Found them dumped in a random spot.

  31. mlb939802

Does anybody have the dcpi for the giant jenga blocks and how much were they on clearance for? TIA

    • Aubrey

They were $6 but I don’t have the # with me.

  32. Aubrey

I did awesome as well, I wish I could post a picture on here. Tables, pillows, home decor, paper plates, tissues, candlesticks, decorative trays, large baskets, placemats, runners, that Large Jenna set, pajamas, slippers, and so much more! I ended up spending $110 from 3 stores but saved over $1000!

  33. Marylynn

By yesterday (Jan 2), in our area, all but one Target was completely cleared out. At the one that had merchandise left, it was mostly wrapping paper and gift boxes. So I was able to get those, some tissue paper, and some fruit flavored candy canes that my husband thought were yummy. Otherwise, the store aisles were filled with Valentine’s Day merchandise.

  34. caran

Where in the world did that pic of 90% off come from?! My Targets’ looked like a hoard of Huns has just come through.

  35. Carrie

Ours was really picked over too but I’m surprised it went to 90% off… it didn’t last year. I was able to snag a Xmas pillow for $2.49. And some of the Axe stuff and bubble baths for 70% off. But it was really slim pickings

  36. laureen

Wow. My target was cleared out basically. Only scaveged over wrapping paper, a lot of bakery cookies, and a few candies. I have a 1month old and a 2 yr old so i grabbed my younger siblngs to search the store. I found the minnie kitchen on clearance for 50%off and no candles or furniture. I was so sad. My 2yr old is a runner and my newborn must have colic it’s so difficult to leave the house with them.

  37. Cassandane

Does anyone have the DCPI for the Pyrex containers? TIA!

  38. Kenna

I bought four Scentsicles at $0.65/ each and used four $1 coupons (valued down to $0.65.) so they were free. I’m hoping they hold their Christmas scent until next year. We plan to pack them away with the trees When we undecorate in a week or so.
I also got packages of Lindt. Truffles, marked $4(something) but they rang up at $1.34. Luckily, that was the first think I rang up, so I cancelled the order and went back for more.

  39. Erin

If anyone is looking for hidden finds, i found paw patrol bath squirters in different characters. They are individual units with a tag on them. .39 each. They could be in the toy isle as they do not look like xmas. Dcpi= 087080453. Also, airwick freshmatic pumpkin spice latte starter kit. Orange box with black spray unit. .48. Found mine in normal isle but someone may have been hiding them there too. I got two bags of glade and airwick products for free with coupons. The glade plug in refills that say happy glow are xmas and so is febreeze apple spray.

  40. Arlina

I went to my store this morning at around 9:30 and there was already a swarm of people there. I got some stuff and looked for a scanner. When I came back in 15 minutes, I swear, the place was cleared! Cleared of the “good” items! It was unbelievable. I wish I had my husband with me so we can laugh at how insane that was. I tried to get more of some items but they were all gone. And to think this Target had a lot.

  41. Indhu

Lot of Nate berkus and threshold furniture were on clearance. Bought 2 Nate berkus accent table , one gold metal table , deer leg table , hourglass table.starbust wall mirror , threshold wall mirror , 6ft unlit Christmas tree, Nate berkus candle holders, wreath , jewlry stand, some floral arrangements, wrapping papers, plates , tissue papers.
    Saved nearly $400.

    • Indhu

Couple of things I found at store today though my store went 90% off yesterday.
It’s never late , if anybody wants dcpi I can give.

      • Maho

    065-15-5004

There is some more from threshold

  44. kara

I don’t bother after it hits 70% – my Targets only have a bunch of broken junk after 50%.. I’d be embarrassed going thru it..lol

  45. Stacy

My find yesterday was a white 7′ pre-lit Christmas tree originally 330.00 (why) for 33.00!!

    • Lo

I thought about those but cheap me was likely I don’t want to spend $33. Bet it’s really nice tho

  46. Jess

One mans trash is another mans treasure, apparently!
