We love eMeals! It make life much easier! I got it through a Groupon a while ago and think its one of the best decisions I’ve ever made LOL!

My husband and I have been using eMeals since last summer. It is wonderful! It really helps you plan for the week and allows you to better prepare for grocery shopping. It also keeps you from the whole “What do you want to eat tonight?” scenario. It provides a lot of different options, and generally allows you to create meals that might not normally be something that you would choose. We use it several nights every week and it really has made a huge difference. We share with others all the time how much we love it. Definitely would encourage you guys to try it out!

My family uses eMeals. I love that it saves me time and money. The weekly meal plan gives you seven meals, but I never use all of them. We buy for the ones we want and substitute our own if we want. It keeps our groceries low without spending a ton of time. Plus we have liked every meal we have tried which is at least 60.

Has anyone tried this? I would love to but I’m concerned the meals won’t be inline with my budget. How expensive are the meals?

    • Jamie

I have used them for about four months and I love it. I don’t like planning, shopping or cooking and using emeals takes the pain out of the first two. I go right on to the WalMart website and order my groceries for pick up. Every night the decision on what to make us a piece of cake because I have all the ingredients and ideas on hand. I use the quick and healthy plan. The have been a few times that I haven’t liked any of the meal ideas in my plan but I simply switch to another for the wk. I highly recommend emeals.

This sounds like a great idea but not sure I would pay for it. I buy whatever is on sale at my grocery store and put it in the dinner spinner on the free Allrecipes app and find a recipe. There is a huge variety of recipes with super helpful reviews and you can create a shopping list if you wish. I use it all the time so hopefully this is helpful to someone else.

    • Jen

      Great suggestion!

I’m with you on this! I love all recipe dinner Spinner. Couple of my favorites are the Crescent dogs for my kids(easy and tasty) and the baked mac and cheese (not so easy but sooo tasty) πŸ™‚

Thank you! I”m going to check that out.

I use emeals and have for 2 years. They have several meal plans with samples on their website. Ive had no issues/problems. Customer service has been great. I subscribed to the clean eating plan and it works for us. Not perfectly but certainly helps. My family has a number of diverse needs – diabetic, gluten free and vegetarian/vegan. Meat eaters, too. Worth trying it, in my opinion.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Happy to hear how well emeals has worked for your family! Thanks for the great feedback!

I’ll look into it. I have a vegan daughter and meat loving boyfriend

I need a service where I can plug in allergies and other dietary needs (like low-carb for my diabetic husband) that will give me meal ideas. Any suggestions?

    • Jamie

I have used eMeals for several years now and I love it. There are 18 different meal plans for all dietary needs, Paleo, vegan, low-carb, portion control, and budget friendly. You can change the plan at any time as well, its super easy the recipes are great!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Thanks for the helpful review! Good to know!

  7. Raquel

We use it and love it. Once subscribed you can change plans if for example, paleo isn’t for you. We’ve done it twice and just “recycle” it after the 6 months. In my opinion the meals are very affordable, we’ve done paleo and portion control.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Raquel!

  8. Ihearthip

I tried it and liked it. FYI use the introductory period to your advantage and ck out all the options for meal plans and don’t forget to print them out!

  9. riss

I tried this a few years back and it didn’t work for me (us). We’re Asians, and most of the recipes just didn’t appeal to me. We’re rice people πŸ™‚ We have to have rice and meat/fish/veggies daily. This was years ago, I bet they have new recipes now.

If you’re on the fence about picking a plan, you can see a sample menu for each one. they all look really good! Just scroll down the page and click a meal plan box. A pop up comes up, and in right above where you select Family Size, is a link to see example meals & the grocery list!

  11. Shelly

you can print out a ton of recipes and shopping lists by looking at the samples. It gives the ingredients, the shopping list and the directions. (and its free!)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      How neat! Thanks for sharing!

  12. Kristin

My husband and I have been using eMeals for nearly 10 years–back when they spelled their name with a z! We always say that it helped to save our wallet AND our marriage. We’ve lived in many different places and have used the plans for Kroger, Publix, Aldi, and Walmart–loved them all! Highly recommend.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s awesome Kristin! Thanks for sharing your experience! Good to know you have been able to use this successfully through the years!

    • Carrie

Flashback! I started when they had the z also! Love not having to make a plan or a grocery list! Time is so valuable and I save a ton not looking for ideas and making a list. Plus I don’t waste food ($)that never becomes the meal I had hoped to make.

  13. Steph

We have also been using Emeals for over 5 years now! Love it! It seriously saves so much time!!

  14. Angel

Just signed up thank you πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

We just started using eMeals for breakfast and lunches. Groupon is offering 6 months for $35, 6 months lunch and dinner $45, or 6 months breakfast, lunch, and dinner for $55! We LOVE it! I got the $55 one and it gives us a bonus dessert for lunch to make. Here is my referral link if interested: https://www.groupon.com/visitor_referral/h/5f677b61-4974-4006-a2e7-a049b017e95b
