AT or sunshine, are your machines really loud or more quiet? I have an older model which I love, but it is very noisy. I’m wondering if I got a new or model it could be a little quieter.
It’s loud
Darn…thanks for the quick reply, Sunshine!
Mines not that loud and i bought this same one the last time it was posted. My floors are so much cleaner now.
Do you need to buy anything with this or just the vacuum?
You can buy cleaner or just use normal water. Ive done both but i typically use water since my lo still likes to crawl around on the floor like a dog.
I bought one a few weeks ago and I love it! I can not believe how much it cleans.
How cool! Thanks for sharing! Happy that it has cleaned so well for you!
got one the last time this deal popped up and tried it out. my water came out black! and always comes out a murky color but it is also pulling up our loose dark color grout. (grouts been loose already) but it seems to have good suction and easy to use. i did try on tile and our laminate.. like some reviews have said it can be drippy when rolling so i let it rest with a towel under after i’m done.
Thanks for the helpful feedback Rhonda! Good to know!
Do these vacuum up loose dirt as well as clean?
Yes but it is recommended to vacuum first before using the scrubber. It’s main purpose is to scrub and suck up water.
Bought two last time for $69.99. One works and the other didn’t – it did not dispense cleaning solution. Customer service is horrible – called twice – wait time was 30 and 47 minutes to just get customer rep on a line. She went through trouble shooting but it didn’t fix the issue. I wanted to return it – but I was told that I have to pay the shipping cost out of pocket – box and unit are heavy and would cost a lot to ship back. They offer u to repair it in the closest repair center which was 35 miles away in NYC. When u buy something new I want to enjoy not to be repairing.
Review about the unit that works – it’s good on dark floor (wood) but leaves streaks on light colored one (I have greay). I like how the floor feels after u clean it but I found it to on a heavy side to hold with one hand while moving back and worth and the cord is constantly on a way. I would not buy it again.
Darn! Sorry to hear about that. Thanks for sharing!
Agree u have t sweep the floor or vacuum before u use this unit. Otherwise everything big is left on the floor.
We have been in our house for 18 years and I have used these ever since the move in date. I have had 2 in the last 18 years. Still using the 2nd one. Getting this one due to the good price to have incased the current one stops working. Price is great! Used on tile floors and it works wonderfully! Completely recommend this product. Unit can vacuum but recommend to vacuum with hard floor vacuum first. Even when I think my floors are clean the amount of dirt it sucks up is amazing. Proof is when you empty the water collection bin into the sink – yuck!!
Wow! Awesome to hear how well yours have held up through the years! Thanks so much for sharing your experience!
What does sealed hardwood floors mean? I know we have hardwood in our new home it don’t know if I can use this on them.
