I drink 2 TBSP of ACV (Braggs with mother) mixed with juice or water w/honey – twice a day! Better than any pill.

Laura, or anyone ,what do u use it 4 ?? Tia.

    • Laura

Lowering blood pressure, cholesterol, and sugar levels. If you search ACV with mother , you’ll see what it’s used for. MUST be with mother. That has all the good stuff in it. Don’t drink it straight. It will harm the enamel on your teeth. I drink it through a straw.

I refuse to take pills if I don’t have to. Natural is the way to go.

      • Sofia

Same here. Every morning, I drink the 3 ingredients tonic: ACV, Lemon and warm water.
Thanks for the tip to use a straw. Never thought about that.

        • Kate

Room temperature water or warm water like you would for tea? Thanks.

  3. Roxy

I like to make switchel. I use lemon juice, ginger, honey, Braggs vinegar with mother and water. Let it sit overnight in the fridge. So good!

I’m lost what is “mother” ?

    • Laura

In ACV particularly, “the mother” is a complex structure of beneficial acids that seem to have health benefits. Unrefined vinegars have a murky appearance and typically still contain the mother culture. Clear and pasteurized vinegars typically do not contain the mother culture and don’t carry the same benefits.

Refined and clear vinegars are great for cleaning as they don’t leave residue. Raw, unfiltered and unrefined versions contain many more beneficial properties for culinary uses.

      You’re welcome! 😉

Unfortunately, Whole Foods did not let me use the store coupon AND the manufacturer coupon. 🙁
