Kmart & Sears: 150 More Stores Will Close By The End Of March (+ One Reader’s Star Wars Haul)
If you’re a regular Kmart or Sears shopper, you may be interested to know that they are closing yet another 150 stores in 40 states. Head here to see if your local store will be closing. Liquidation sales have already started, and most of the stores will close at the end or March or sooner.
If you live near one of these locations, be on the lookout for clearance deals throughout the store.

Just a reminder that some local Kmart stores are closing! I went to mine this weekend and all clothes were 40% and clearance clothes were 65% off. I got my daughter a Shopkins sweatshirt for $7, a pair of legging for $4, ALL jewelry was advertised at 75% off and ALL toys were 40% off! There was A LOT to choose from at my location.
I bought SIX stand up Star Wars figures, 2 flashlights, 2 snack travel cups, 2 drink cups, a car visor, 2 light up toothbrushes, pack of stickers and 6 Star Wars plates all for $132.06! Also you can still earn Shop Your Way points from purchases and use coupons attached to your account! I used $26 in points toward my purchases.

I’m very saddened by the closure of so many Kmart/ Sears stores. Thankfully my local stores will not be affected. I hope the stores advertisement changes and saves the remaining stores. I dislike the monopoly that Wal-Mart has in the retail sector.
Our Kmart is closing and I was surprised at how few deals they had this past weekend. Hardly anything was on sale! I was really hoping to score some furniture deals.
It’s really sad. Our Kmart here in Carson,CA will be closing. I love Kmart and Sears specially their Shop your way promos.
I know they’ve said every year for the past 3 years Sears/kmart might close but it’s looking imminent. The CEO has lent the company 2 billion dollars in 2 years and they need more. Sucks because I have a sears card with a huge limit that helps my credit. Enjoy the deals while you can.
With Sears and Kmart going belly-up to be very wise to spend your Shop Your Way points as soon as possible! Don’t get caught holding them once they close.
