Walgreens EveryDay Points: Thru 12/31/17, you can earn 10 points for every $1 spent (100 points = 10¢). Just go here to add this perk to your Balance Rewards Card. Plus, in addition to EveryDay Points, you can earn Bonus Points on featured items.
Walgreens is now also allowing you to earn AND redeem Balance Rewards points in the same transaction on unit offers (unit offer examples: Buy 2, get back 5,000 Balance Rewards Points or Buy 1, get back 2,000 Balance Rewards Points etc). Keep in mind, you will still not be able to earn points if you use points to pay for a threshold offer (for example spend $30, get 10,000 Balance Rewards Points back). I am not a fan of Walgreens. I have their rewards card and I use it whenever I purchase something but I never see any rewards from it.It will give me the sale price if the item is on sale but that’s about it. I much prefer CVS. The last several times that I have been in Walgreens I have picked up things that look like they are on sale only to find out that someone put them in the wrong spot. Very frustrating and so not worth it. I only go there when there is no CVS in the area. Luckily there usually is a CVS so I don’t have to deal with Walgreens. I’m hoping Walgreens sees this and changes their program to match CVS. Until then I will avoid them.

No you cannot.
Wags is pretty complicated. You CAN use RRs to pay, but the RR you’re using cannot be from the same company that you’re earning from, otherwise you won’t get a RR from the purchase. So if you have a RR from say a Colgate deal, you can use it for a Crest deal and you’ll receive the RR. I personally prefer to use reward points towards a RR offer, then roll the RR back towards point offers.

Also, (at least in the past) the manager told me that the reason my Register Reward didn’t come out for a Crest toothpaste was tjat I had used a Register Reward from P&G for having purchased Herbal Essence shampoo to pay for the toothpaste (i.e. even though they are different items/different offer, they are made by the same manufacturer).
recently tried using Almay’s and M&M’s deal at a walgreens and cashier said I can only use 1 coupon on my transaction but I can separate transactions to be able to use other same coupons..Is this correct or did I just get a bad cashier? I didnt want to argue with her so I just did 1 transaction
Almay has no restrictions. Not sure about M&Ms but most coupons have a limit of 4 per transaction. So yeah, your cashier was not the smartest.
I wouldn’t be surprised if she was confused by the “one coupon per purchase” statement. That still confuses way too many people.
Coby-I have had a cashier tell me that they are being told in training to allow one coupon per transaction. If you want to purchase multiples , then you can do multiple transactions, as opposed to the four coupon per transaction limit, which we have been doing for quite awhile. A cashier at Rite Aid also told me this recently.
I also STRONGLY DISLIKE Walgreens. I prefer CVS. In comparison to using register rewards vs. extra care bucks, this is why:
1) if my total is $9.95 at CVS I can use multiple ECB’s to pay and I may opt to surrender a few cents in lieu of having to buy something else. So I can pay my total with ten $1 ECB.s.
2) same total at Walgreens – I can only use one Register reward/coupon per item. And I usually am forced to add an item to my order because the item ends in ninety five cents.. So if I had a $10 register reward I could not surrender the five cents. I am forced to purchase another item, padding my total with something I don’t need or want. There was a time I had more cow tail candy in my home than the store had.
3) if an items is on sale at CVS with ECB’s and they are out of stock – they will give you a raincheck for both the sale price and the ECB’s.
4) if an item is on sale at Walgreens and they are out of stock – they will give you a raincheck for the price – but you are SOL (sh__ out of luck) on the Register Rewards.
CVS is definitely more customer friendly.
I RARELY go to Walgreens anymore.
I agree with everyone’s comments about their disgust with Walgreens. Very complicated and they know it. Love, love, love, my CVS. The workers are the best and they are always excited to see my deals.

I was just wondering if anyone has tried using the printed $4 Almay product coupons on the make up remover wipes at Walgreens? Do they scan properly? I tried using them at HEB ( a local grocery chain where I live) and the coupons beeped so they wouldn’t take them. My mom really likes this product so I’m just trying to find a store where they work at. Thanks!
I didn’t do this deal at Wags, but they scanned just fine at Rite Aid on the remover wipes when I bought them today.
Not sure if they work at Walgreens. I’ve only used them at CVS and Wal-Mart.
Bought softsoap refill 59oz. I had a $1 coupon loaded on my card (not sure if it’s available now) so only $0.50 for a 59oz refill.
I tried the Almaty concealer deal and the cashier told me I couldn’t use the in booklet because it wasn’t the same product. Unfortunately it wouldn’t scan and I didn’t have time to wait 😢
