My son LOVES the movie (based on the 1st book) & watches it over & over on Netflix. We struggled getting him to read at home so I bought a boxed set of the books for Christmas. He’s been so excited as we read through them! I paid 10 times this price for the paperback set. This is a great deal!

Does anyone know if you can use free digital credits on these? (The ones received from selecting no-rush shipping)? I hate that you can’t tell until AFTER you’ve placed the order, and then you have to check your order summary to see if it was taken off.

I didn’t really enjoy reading as a child until I discovered the Boxcar Children back in the 90s. These books changed everything! I don’t have kids yet, but if/when I do, I will definitely get them this series. These books have a certain wholesome sweetness that I just love!
These are my daughter’s FAVORITE books…they kickstarted her reading obsession and we own these ebooks already plus about another 20 of the mysteries. You won’t regret getting these (especially for such a STEAL of a price!!).

Thank you! I’m trying every outlet I can find to help my son develop a love for reading. This one is by far the best deal I have purchased. Praying this grabs his attention and helps him WANT to read for fun.
Us too…try taking him to the library and let him pick anything out…even if it seems a little babyish or easy to read. It’s got to be something that interests him. Our son doesn’t have much motive but likes the new Stink books by Judy Moody series (thanks to other fellow hip to savers suggestions) and books with drawings in them like the Doodles of Sam Dibble books. It makes the reading more fun that just seeing the words. We actually had been told to read these boxcar books and we just finished one and are on our second book by his request. I hope this helps!
