I planted my free wildflower seeds last spring and didn’t get any flowers. I will admit I am not familiar with gardening. Are there any tricks to planting these? TIA

    • Rachel

I planted mine in a covered rubbermaid bin like a little greenhouse and then once they were large enough I transplanted them into the yard. They grew to be huge by the end of the summer! I didn’t get nearly as many plants as amount of seeds but the few that did took up quite the space.

        Oh good idea, thank you!

If I recall correctly, wildflower seeds need to stay moist in order to germinate. We planted one of those large packets of seeds you get like from Target a couple of years ago. We had good luck with them coming up but, we watered them everyday and had put grass clippings down on top to help keep the moisture in. I have a nice wildflower area that I would love to add too. So, thanks. I got my free seeds!
