Just bought for our local shelter. I’ve started taking my son there on occasion so we can visit all of the cats and dogs and take whatever food/treats I’ve been able to score cheaply via Hip2Save posts!
How sweet! Thanks for sharing!
for whatever reason these dog bones never give me the 15% discount — it always shows 0-5% even though I have way more than 5 subscriptions and am getting 15% off the others — these only give me 5%. Same thing happened last time — not sure if this is the same for everyone else or not
I believe dog food and treats are like diapers and wipes and you can only get the extra 5% not 15%. I could be wrong but ive noticed that trend
I meant that its a different percentage not the typical 1-4 items 5% 5+ 15%. Diapers/wipes are the standard 20% on s&s.
I am seeing that as well Tammy. Thanks for letting us know! Updating now!
It is not giving me the 15 percent off even tho I have over 5 items in my subscribe order.
Sorry for the confusion Stacy! It does appear that this deal is only offering 5% on multiple subscriptions. Updating now!
The 10lb medium size dog box is $7.49 if you have 5 items in S&S it would be an additional 5% off. Got mine for 7.12
These are really high in calories. 9 times out of 10 when I ask a pet parent with an overweight dog what kind of treats they’re giving, their answer is milk bones. People just don’t realize how they’re not helping their pets with these.
It depends on how often they are used really. We give our dog a treat or two a few days a week. Our vet always comments on how our dog is one of few she sees that is the weight she should be.
Might use some caution with Milkbone. We found moth infested boxes recently and for the last year and purchased these Milkbone at different retailers who pointed the blame to Milkbone/JM Smucker Co. It appears no changes or explanation is forthcoming so we stopped buying this brand. I thought my dog would miss these but the dog loves the new treats just as much, if not more.
Oh darn! Thanks for the warning!
