Is it hard to cancel?
My sister actually signed up for the Welcome Package in the past, received her 5 books and activity book for $5.95 shipped (note that it did take about 10 days for the package to arrive from the time she placed the order) and then decided to cancel her membership altogether. The cancellation process took less than 5 minutes – she simply called the Customer Service number at 1-800-353-3140, waited on hold for a few minutes, provided her name and account # to the representative, asked for the membership to be canceled and she was done! Super easy!

Is this a different company than the one people have all the problems with? I remember a similar book deal in the past with horror stories of people getting continuously charged after canceling.
Google earlymoments reviews, tons of complaints… They say it is easy to cancel but apparently when you call in to cancel, they will say oh sorry, your books just shipped today, so you get charged $19.99 unless you ship them back but they will charge $9.99 S&H.
And people report still being charged even after canceling… No thanks, I will stay away!

It’s $3.95 if you go through a link found on their Facebook ad. I signed up using that link and was charged $3.95. I commented with the link – but looks like my previous comment was filtered out and not posted.
I could have been sure I received an email saying 5 free books and shipping 3.95 which makes each book 0.79 :-/
For everyone worried about them still charging after cancelling, you can always use a prepaid debit card
Love Dr Seuss books, my children learned how to read with these books. I borrowed them from our local library when they were little. My son started taking classes at community college last summer. He’s 14 now.
