I was super impressed by the first box they ever did, one sample was a full size lip stick valued at $12.. i feel like they’ve gradually gone hill. I haven’t gotten one in a year, so I might try again just to see if they’ve improved.

    • Maria

Jess I feel the same way. They have gone down hill and I’m not interested in samples so if this next one is not good am going to cancel my membership

  2. Melissa

I really love the Walmart boxes, though I know reviews are mixed. I find that the products, even if I wouldn’t buy them again, are products I’d actually use. I’ve had Birchbox, Ipsy & Target boxes in the past. Birch & Ipsy send me too many samples that aren’t relevant, even though I filled out my profile to my liking. Target boxes are great, but they got too expensive IMHO.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the review Melissa! Glad to hear you have been pleased with the Walmart boxes!

  3. Harlow

Hi there!!! Ot: but should target take 2 manufacturers coupons that are identical but on 2 items. Like 2 identicl coupons only one for each product but the coupons have the same barcode number. Is that okay??? Tysm:)

    • Michelle

Maybe you’ll have better luck posting on a deal that actually has to do with target. And I’m personally not to clear on what your asking. What I get is, can you use the same coupon twice? No you can’t. Unless it’s meant to reproduce then on but you can’t print or copy and use several of the same coupon.

    • katie

Yes if you have two coupons, and two items you can use them both. One item per coupon is fine.

      • Emily

unless the coupon is like for a dollar off two, then only one coupon on two items.

  4. Harlow

This is my first time in FOREVA printing and using coupons at target. ..ty

  5. Shannon

I am 35 but signed up as much older to get more skin care and have been impressed by all but one box in 1.5 years.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing your experience Shannon! Glad to hear you have liked most of them!

  6. Kim

If I signed up for the winter box, do I need to sign up again? Or will it automatically renew for spring?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Kim! Here is what they list in the details: “Your Beauty Box subscription will automatically renew each season until cancelled.” Hope this helps! 🙂

I have been more impressed with the Walmart beauty boxes than the ones from Target. I have received things like free full sized deodorants, mascaras and lipsticks, as well as some decent coupons and travel size shampoos, lotion and toothpaste. I admittedly don’t always love everything, but for the price they are worth it (and they are better than Target’s).

  8. Nichole

    Thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

Target’s boxes are so much better than Walmart’s boxes. They don’t require a subscription, so you get to choose which boxes to buy and which ones to pass on. I’d much rather pay $7 for a box where I’ll use most (if not all) of the contents, than pay $5 for a mystery box which might be full of stuff I’ll never use.

Also, Walmart’s boxes feature only drugstore brands since that’s all that they carry, but Target’s boxes often feature prestige brands since they carry those too. So you get a lot more for your $, since the value of a Laneige sample is obviously worth much more than that of a L’Oreal sample.

I love both target and walmart. If i don’t use all the items i take it to work the ladies love to get free stuff win win 👏😀

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks so much for the feedback! Happy to hear you have enjoyed the boxes! 🙂

  11. S. Kistler

I love getting the Walmart boxes since the last 2 boxes have included full sized mascara and it reminds me that it’s time to replace mine. (Which I am usually bad about doing as often as you’re suppose to since they are so expensive)

  12. Brittany

Does anyone get the infant and/or toddler boxes? I can’t remember if I have in the past or not. The prenatal and infant are currently “taking reservations”. I considered subscribing to both considering I have both in my home, but I’m wondering what types of things are in the toddler box.

    • Susie

I might miss a few things here because it’s been a bit since I received my toddler box, but I can remember:
      – Little Duplo Set (a small bag with like 5 or 6 blocks)
      – Sample bottle of Aveeno bodywash and soap
      – Sample of powdered vitamins (you can mix in applesauce and such)

There were a few more samples/coupons, but I know I was pleasantly surprised with the contents.

  13. Donna O.

I just signed up for a second beauty box with Walmart. Same address, no hassel. I really enjoy the surprise in the mail and have found items included to be quite useful.

  14. Melissa J.

I got an email this morning asking if I’d like to opt-in to receive as special spring sponsored/collaborated Me Moment box instead of the regular spring they will be sending to everyone else..

“Life can be stressful with busy schedules and responsibilities.

Canada Dry® and Southern Living® Magazine invite you to pause and enjoy what makes you happy.

So kick back, relax and take a ‘Me Moment’ with this limited edition Walmart Beauty Box. You’ve earned it.”

It also gives a sneak peek saying that boy will contain a purifying black charcoal mask, sinful nail polish, and Neutrogena hydro boost lip color. This sounds awesome already! 😀

    Anyone else get this opt-in?

    • Connie

Yes. I got that too. My daughter loves to get these boxes in the mail.

    • Cassie Sue

Thanks for mentioning, I checked my email and I got one too. Looks awesome!

    • JaCinda

Well I checked and I got this opt in offer six hours ago. Of course when I clicked on the link to opt in, I got a message saying they were SOLD OUT and I would be put on a waiting list. Grrr!!!

  15. Kathleen Trounce

I have been receiving the boxes for a few years now and I still look forward to receiving them! While there may not always be full size samples, there is usually enough of the product to see if it works for you. I have found some good products that I would have normally missed and the $$ off coupons are great.

  16. Cassie Sue

While I don’t use everything, I really like the wide selection of products I get. And what I don’t use I can usually hand off to my daughter who enjoys getting new things to try. And I like that they are drugstore brands so if I do like them, it’s not a huge budget buster to buy more. It’s also been a great way to try samples of things I had heard about, without having to invest in a huge bottle.

  17. Linda

I subscribe to several of the high end beauty boxes but the Walmart box is always my favorite as I use more of the products they send. I signed up for the alternate box this season so won’t be getting mine until early April
