We don’t have this exact Roku but we love the one we have!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Stacey

    What does it do??

    • K

You can use it to stream Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. on your TV. It also has apps for music like Pandora and You Tube.

  3. Sara

Does anyone know how the express does compared to the regular stick?

    • Marc

Here’s a link to compare Roku models. The Express is the least expensive model. I have the model 3600, the next step up. Except for 4k, it doors everything and more than the other models. I love that I can travel with my stick.

    We love our roku players!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear that! Thanks for the feedback!

  5. Kylie

I bought a flat screen with roku because I was told in the store I could connect it to my pad or phone with the app and stream movies but they don’t seem to connect.A u-tube video said it needs wifi set up in your home to use roku.I thought this would be great because I had stopped my cable and internet service due to the high bills and I didn’t watch any of the channels.

    • K

Wifi is needed to use the Roku unfortunately.

  6. Jill

Forgive my ignorance, but can u watch baskellball or any other sports with this? TIA

    • K

I believe there may be apps that provide sports but they would require a paid subscription.

    • Becks

Yes! MLB has its own app & there are live choices on the sports channel apps.

  7. Betty

One of mine died this week. Thanks.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Happy you can grab this as a replacement! YW!

  8. Ellen

Can this model be jail – broken? TIA!

    • JA

I don’t think so. I tried like heck to jail break one and ended up just getting a Fire TV instead. Much easier.

      • Ellen

        Ok thank you!

  9. Cheryl

Does anyone use this in their camper? Curious as to your experience with that ( I know the campground must have wifi) 🙂

  11. Megan

So is this like the actual roku?

  12. Ashjam

We were gifted the stick for Christmas and I cannot get it to work! Do you think we would have better luck with this one since it has the box?

    • nydia

Have you tried calling roku? They have really great customer service. I called when we first got one almost 2 years ago and were having issues with the remotes- I was able to figure out the problem quickly and it’s been working perfectly since.

      • Ashjam

I have not! I honestly didn’t think of it! I will try! Thank you

  13. Lj

Does this have the plug in for headphones?

  14. Julia Hostetler

it currently says out of stock? any back-up options?

    • paulrace

Julia, check the “ship to store” option for stores around you that still have it in stock. There’s only one store with stock in my area, out of about 15, so you may be out of luck by now.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I am no longer finding it available for shipping, however it appears that you can still grab it for in store pick up if in stock near you. Hope this helps!
