The Large blue Charge HR is on clearance for $64.99 at Best Buy.

Thanks for the heads up Brianna!

That is for the original Charge HR (this post is about the Charge HR 2). I had the original and it fell apart within the first 6 months. Fitbit was great and sent me a replacement at no charge and that one fell apart within the first 4 months. Fitbit told me I was out of luck and they would give me a 20% off coupon, but not fix or replace it. Several of my friends with the original Charge HRs have had very similar issues. I’d personally pay the extra $30 to have the newest one, since it’s supposed to be more durable. HTH!

I have the newest one it has stuck over and over

I have the Fitbit charge. My first one lasted about 9 months. The problem wasn’t that the device broke. The problem was that the band broke. I assumed I could simply buy a new band. But that is not the case. It really is a major design flaw that could easily be ameliorated with replacement bands. And going online you will see many complaints. Regardless, I called the company and they set me a new one. I have been very happy with mine!

Any reviews or other suggestions? I am looking to upgrade from my current fitness tracker that does not have a heart rate monitor.

    • Laura

I bought one a few months ago. I love it!

My husband gave me one for my birthday on the 4th of March. So far, I love it. No complaints, and it seems very durable.

I just got the Charge 2. I Love that it tracks my heart, steps, stairs and several other health related activites. It was worth it to me to send the extra money. And I got Kohls cash!

    • jrcarter0977

      Spend not send 🤣😂

I have this one & I love it! It details out many things. I love the heart rate monitor. I also love how it details out your workout & what zone you are in like – fat burning zone, peak & cardio. It gives you reminders throughout the day to move more if you set a goal. It will remind you if you set it up that its time to wind down for bed. It has an alarm that will go off to wake you up. Many more items as well.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the great feedback Kris! Good to know!

Is this too small for a man? Worried that the other, nicer ones will get ruined at work.

    • Vanessa

No. My husband has the black one and he has very man hands, wide, large, just manly man. Lol he has not complained about it.

I have had 5 HRs in one year!!! But I’m still addicted! Super excited to upgrade (I hope!)!to the charge HR2!
    Thanks!

I bought a FitBit Charge 2 back in Jan, so far I’m down 25 pounds, so I think they’re worth the money. I count my steps every day and cut what I eat in half, that’s it. 25 pounds gone.

    • JES

      Wow!!! That’s awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That’s awesome! Congratulations! Thanks so much for sharing your experience! 🙂
