Can anyone comment on how early we should arrive to the theatre? We have never been to a pre-screening before and I hear they overbook so it is first come first serve? TIA!

    • Heather B.

I have always gotten a seat arriving 45 minutes early with the exception of The Heat. That was one I was 45 minutes early to and seats were all given out. It’s best to be there at least 45 minutes ahead but if you can be there an hour early that should secure your seat. Again you are at the mercy of how popular the movie is. :-/

Some people get there an hour in advance, but you have to stand in line the whole time. If it’s a really sought after movie I would too, but for this I would probably get there 30 min in advance.

I was allowed to request 4 tkts. to this screening. Near me you are in the front row if you arrive 1 hour or less before the movie. But 1 hour 15 minutes usually gets you okay seats. If it’s your first screening, go early to make sure you get in. Then you’ll know for the next time.

Thanks so much! Received my passes.

      YW! Enjoy the movie! 🙂

I usually get there about 1 hour early. But it runs on demographics also. If it’s a teen movie, they’ll pull the teens from the line to go first. If it’s a kids’ movie, same thing, etc. etc. We didn’t get in the last time even though we were ahead of most people. Frustrating. But, they did give us a ticket to see any of the other movies showing. I think for only that night though. Not sure I’d try again only because they have discount Tuesdays where the movies are only $6. But a good deal if you have a few kids or want to go in a group.

    • Mina

Wow that’s so unreasonable. What’s the point of getting there early and wait in line if someone else behind you can come in first based on their age and group? That’s truly unfair. My screenings don’t care who is who…you get in line first, you go in first. I’m glad it’s this way.

      • Lo

I understand being upset but she still got to see a free movie. I did this for my mom who LOVES movies so she wouldn’t care.

  14. Pam

Yay! Thank you so much for the heads up. Got three passes for my daughter and husband and me. Sounds like a great movie.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re so welcome!

  15. Jeannine

Thank you, Collin! Hope everyone enjoys the movie!
