Off subject…but where did you find that awesome shirt?! Love it 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Stay tuned… we will be posting a deal on it shortly! 👍

Adorable video as always! I’m glad I have finished my Easter shopping though – I do NOT need all of that candy (even though it looks delicious)! Scaling the candy WAY back this year. I love that you mentioned practical items and reusing grass year after year. I reuse my baskets, grass and plastic eggs each year. No sense in spending $ or sending things to the landfill. Also, my kiddos always get some practical items in their baskets. I love filling their baskets with nice, useful and fun items for less than those pre-made baskets that have cheap junk in them. Thanks Hip2Save!

Mind if I ask where did you get that coat/jacket? Also what brand is it? Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I purchased from REI, and the brand is REI. Hope that helps! 🙂

  8. Marcy

Hip2Save team.. Quick question, I’m fairly new to using coupons. How many of the M&M’s brand chocolate coupons can I use on a single transaction? I’d like to purchase all the chocolate items in this video. thank you!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Marcy!

From what I remember, the fine print on that coupon doesn’t seem to state any limits (like one per customer or only 4 like coupons per shopping trip etc), so you should definitely be able to grab all the chocolate savings from the video! 👍

      • Marcy

Thanks for taking the time to respond! No wonder you all are my favorite peeps!! 😉

Consider Halloween or Christmas non-descript candy when at 70% off. Also consider hitting the xmas and valentine’s day regular and one-spot clearance at 70-90% off to fill baskets.

Are there pencil and erasers in the one spot for Easter?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yep, there sure are! I spotted some really cute Dr. Seuss ones too!

  12. Nicole

Awesome video! Can you tell me how you did the bun in your hair? It looks really cute!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks Nicole! It is a fake hair piece I purchased from Sally Beauty. I just attach with bobby pins! 😉

      • Nicole

Thanks – I’ll check them out.

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          You’re welcome!

We are scaling back on the candy this year. Adding things like a cute swimsuit and sunglasses for daughter. I would have to buy her a swimsuit for summer, so this way it helps fill up her basket too.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Cute ideas! Thanks for sharing!

  14. Lisa

    Great video. Thanks Collin.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Lisa!

Has anyone’s Target not accepted the mobile candy coupon? I went to my local Target today (Metro Detroit Michigan area) and spent a lot of time picking things out (and stacking my coupons) to get to the register and have the cashier scan the mobile coupon but nothing came off. She tried it a few times and got the manager after first telling me maybe it is only good on Easter items which made no sense b/c most of my candy items were Easter items and I read the coupon to her that it said off of all candy. The manager said it must not be a valid coupon and did nothing. My little guy had 1/2 day of school today so I didn’t have time to debate as I needed to get home in time for the bus. I left not buying anything 🙁 Also bummed that the Mars mini Easter mix bags aren’t 3/$6 anymore. Was that a sale last week?

    • angieruth

      i used the coupon at
the Troy store two days ago.. but all
of mine was easter candy except the red vines

    • Tiggy

It worked for me in SE, WI. I used it on single serve Snicker’s bars. I combined the 25% candy coupon with the 30% Snicker’s cartwheel and I also had a few tearpad coupons for B1G1F on Snickers. I haven’t studied up my receipt in depth, but think I paid less than a dime for all 4 Snicker’s bars. The register took off .89 for each coupon, even though they were less than that due to the category coupon (25% off on candy) and the 30% cartwheel on Snickers.

  16. Diana

    Sour punch straws are a good deal too- $0.79- 25%- 20% cw= $0.29 🙂

  17. Diana

    Oh sorry theyre 50% off on cw+ mobile candy q= $0.29! 🙂

  18. Diana

I got 2 snickers king size eggs, 3 pks of trident, and sp straws for $1.35 😉
Would be less if i used ibotta😊😊

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      AWESOME!!

  19. Shannon

Thanks for the deals! Can’t wait to go to them. I already bought a lot of candy but it’s ahem missing now…lol. So hard to not eat it!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome!! And I totally understand candy disappearing! 😉

  20. Jill

❤️ your videos, totally made my day! Hope you can also do videos on orher stores like CVS besides Target. Question though, will the text CANDY work again this week if i used it last week? TIA.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your feedback Jill! For the CANDY text offer. It looks to be valid for only one transaction, however some readers have mentioned using it multiple times. Hope this helps!

  21. Kimberly

Collin thank you for the great savings tips!! I love your videos… girl you are a hot mess ;-). Quick question… is the purchase limit 4 of each item do you know? On Cartwheel it looks like 4 is the max you can purchase with CW, the 25% off and the paper coupons. Thank you! Kim

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi there! For the Cartwheel offers, they can be used up to 4 times per transaction, up to 6 transactions per day. Hope this helps!

  22. Jul

I got several candy items from this great video today. The 25% off Target candy coupon as well as the cartwheel scanned just fine. Not one of my very clear (not blurry) coupons.com coupons (6 of them) would scan. She told me that Target doesn’t take coupons that do not scan. I just printed them this morning! I asked for a mgr who took me to another register and he spent a good 5 min trying to get the wand to scan them. Eventually he got 5 of 6 to scan. I told him the scan gun must b bad as the first lady told me her scan gun wouldn’t scan them at all. He seemed to indicate that I was taking a lot of time from him. Doesn’t it seem like it must be a scanning gun issue if most eventually scanned?? Anyone else have this issue? I’m in Raleigh NC. So frustrating!

  23. Sherri

I used my 25% Candy text coupon on last week’s deal posted in here for the Hersheys. Will this work again this week? I just don’t want to waste my time on these easter candies deal if it’s not gonna work coz i need to be home before the school bus comes. If anybody had tried this, pls share. TIA.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Sherri! Some readers have stated that they were able to use it a second time. Hope this helps!

  24. Sherri

    Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Sherri!

  25. CJ

Such a bummer that the 10.40 oz. bags of Easter M&M’s aren’t included in the 10% off Mars Easter packaged chocolate Cartwheel. Instead of the $1.45 a bag you got them for, they come out to be 1.75 a bag. 1.50 is my go to price. Was really counting on them for a project. The packages of individually packaged M&M’s did bring up the Cartwheel. That’s what the must mean by Mars “packaged” candy.

  26. visitor3

Easter baskets with socks and underpants and a little somethin’ churchy = fun family tradition. Gotta pass along that to the next generation. Will add goggles, beach towel, flip flops, hat, to welcome spring.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great Easter Basket items! Thanks for sharing!

  27. Herni

Great video Collin! Also very nice video quality. What kind/brand videocam are you using, if you don’t mind sharing… Thanks as always!

  28. Cindy

Do you think the deals are still good this week? Thanks. And cute video!
