Costco Members! You May Soon Be Able To Have Groceries Delivered To Your Door
Have you ever used a grocery delivery service?
Starting March 21st , Costco is teaming up with Shipt, an online grocery delivery company, to deliver groceries to the homes of Costco members in the Tampa metro area. Shipt plans to expand to 50 additional markets and over 30 million households by the end of the year. Head HERE for more details.
Note that a Shipt Membership is priced at $99 per year or $14 per month, plus there is a delivery fee of $7 for orders under $35 (the delivery fee is waived for orders of $35 or more). However, Tampa residents will be able to try out Shipt for two weeks FREE plus save $15 off their first order when the new Costco program launches.
Heck no- I’d miss the free samples!
Haha! I know right!!? 😂
Yes! This is amazing. We are just outside the Tampa area. Hope it goes well and they expand asap.
You can already do this (have groceries delivered from Costco, and tons of other stores) through the Google Express app.
Google Express only allows you to purchase non-perishable items. Plus it’s limited to only certain items. I’m assuming this site will allow for purchasing everything
Does anyone know if using a gift card at costco means i dont need membership? Anyone tried it?
Corect, if you have a gift card you can go shopping with out membership card…
I love going to Costco for the hotdog and fro yo!
Yes I think I wld on those really cold winter days, when kids sick or during really busy times! Otherwise do like to browse and get a lil exercise..
I’m so jealous!!!
How does the differ from Google Express? Has anyone use Google Express for Costco?
I have used Google Express to shop Costco. The selection is limited, but it’s great for the things I need. Plus, it stops me from impulse buying thing not on my shopping list 😉
So true 😬
I am wondering if the Google Express prices are the same? I am looking and need to compare prices. Presuming there is a slight up charge but don’t know for sure?
I use Google Express for Costco. They currently don’t offer perishable (groceries) so perhaps this includes that?
I’m after the free food… Lol. I just love going to Costco, especially seeing all the deals for popular clothes’ brand
$35 is easy to spend at Costco… just have to buy 1 or 2 items. Lol.
My husband jokes that if you don’t spend $100, they send you back for more. When he was a stay-at-home dad he spent about $600 on groceries two months in a row. I had to take his card away!! 😂 I’ve remedied that now- I stay at home & coupon and he actually WORKS at Costco!
Oh man when my hunby worked at costco we actually spent more there! We have to drive an hour to get there but since he made that commute nearly every day it was too easy to say “hey can you pick up…”
