Does Ibotta give you rebates for multiple items or just $1 regardless of how many you bought?

    • Craig

I believe it’s limited to one.

If you buy more than one, save your receipt and the product package for the barcode. Sometimes the rebate will pop back up into your gallery after a few days and you can redeem for the second product. I have done this several times with no problems.

you’re not supposed to use the same receipt, even if you purchase more than 1 item and only claim 1, then the item resets. I’ve read on some groups of people getting their accts suspended b/c of reusing receipts. Best to purchase them separately and submit unique receipts. That’s what I do, that way it’s within the 7-day grace period if it resets.

What is the 7 day grace period?

Ibotta got mad at me for doing that. I had bought 2 of an item, redeemed it once, then tried to redeem on the second one when the rebate came back up. They sent me an email threatening to close my account. I have, however, been able to do that when the items are 2 different varieties. It seems like if it’s the exact same item, they think you are trying to redeem on the same item a second time. When it is two different varieties though, it isn’t an issue because it clearly is two separate things.

Yes Angela- this has been my experience as well. It was confusing at first too since I had two of the same items and then the rebate for the same item came back. I guess it’s hard for them to distinguish between the same item, so it is best to purchase them on separate receipts unless they are different items. However, at the same time, they are select offers now like the Kashi bar rebate that purposefully allows 2 like items per receipt. In this case, you could submit for the same item twice on a single receipt. Hope that makes some sense.. I know it was very confusing for me at first, so I wanna save up all some confusion too

They are free at Whole Foods with $1 moneymaker when you buy two. Make sure you use their coupon plus manufacture coupon. Then I always make sure I buy something with it. Find the rebate in the hold food section of Ibotta. I did it and had no problem. You can do both deals at the same time just on different receipts.

If you are new to Ibotta, you should definitely consider this app. Great rebate offers and simple to use. Plus when you redeem your first rebate you get a $10 credit added to your account.

There were also some that had coupons on them for a free Suja with the purchase of a Suja smoothie so if you can find those you can actually get two of them for $0.25. I was able to use the cartwheel, the get one free coupon, as well as the $1 off coupon plus get a $1 off on Ibotta.

Crap! I finally find the stuff and it’s ring up at 399 now. so this deal is dead.
