Has anyone ever tried to use something like this at Harris Teeter?

yes, you can redeem both at the same time.
I usually wait till I have 3 or more freebie Fridays loaded, before I redeem all at once. I’m not at my supermarket every week.

Annie, you and me both. I usually wait until one freebie is expiring in a few days, then I go to Ralph’s and get 3 or 4 freebies on the same visit.

I do the same thing and if I’ve won an item from their game that may or may not show up on my card, I print the whole list of freebies and they’ve honored everything on it. It helps organize your freebies to find them in the store too.
