Here’s what you’ll need to do…

If you have yet to download the FREE myCVSapp, you can download it now from iTunes or GooglePlay. Then open the app, sign into your account and add your items to your cart. Even sweeter, you will get a $5 Extra Buck when you download the app and link your Extra Care Card for the first time! You can also go here to shop online and add items to your cart.

You will receive a text message notifying you when your order is ready for pickup and there will be a barcode for you to show CVS. Be sure to leave the app open and have your location services option switched on for the CVS app.

When you arrive at CVS, park in the CVS Express Curbside Pick-up parking. The app should notify the store that you are there to pick up your order and they will bring it out to you, scan your bar code and give you the order.

    Omg that’s funny, same thing happened to me! I sat there for five minutes and then had to go inside to ask for my order. They had to call a manger who finally came out with it. He said he was alerted that I was close but then it stopped so he thought I never arrived. Haven’t tried it again yet, lol.

      Oh my goodness lol! Yeah it sounds like they need to fix their alerts or something!

      Me too I sat in the car for 5 minutes then when in. They had something beeping behind the counter which they said was their alert that I was 5 minutes away. I guess it never updated when I sent my HERE text, very frustrating. I think I could have gone in and picked my stuff off the shelf faster!!

    It didn’t go well the last time I did curbside pickup at CVS. I was alerted that my order was ready and got there in about a minute. When I came, they sent me a text saying my order was cancelled because I didn’t show up! I parked right in front of the huge pickup sign!!! I had to order again and waited forever. Hopefully the next one will go smoothly.

    How do you change the phone number on your extra care account to your mobile phone number. When i originally set it up i used my home phone number and it’s not letting me change it. When i try to apply the promo code it says i must have a valid mobile number.

      Same thing happened to me as well! I don’t think there’s an option to change it. You can try signing up a new account.

    Lol the same thing happened to me! I got a call asking what car I was in (I was parked in the curbside pickup one) apparently people just park there and go in and shop! Great if it’s rainy but I’d rather go in and use my coupons.

    I had my husband pick up my order. I just responded “here” to the text when my husband said he was there. He put the hazards on as CVS suggests. And someone came right out with my $0.85 OPI nail polish! Thanks

    I had no problem with my pick up. Placed my order went to the store texted I’m here. The guy came out found me scanned my phone to make sure it was me. Gave me my order and off I went into the sunset. lol…

    The first time I tried it I ordered my items and planned to pick them up later on that day but something came up. It gave me 4 days I believe to pick it up. The next day I went out of state. I went to pick it up the next day and couldn’t figure out how to tell them I was there so I just went in to get it. They told me that the day before they kept getting a notification I was outside. And they kept going outside with my order. Too bad I was about 3 hours away! When I let them scan my barcode nothing would load. I waited for 20 minutes and they couldn’t figure it out and I left without my items. Frustrating.

    I’ve used curbside pick up twice and both times I had to go inside to get my items. The first time they never got the notification I was outside. The second time they got the notification but the sales associate said she was too busy to go outside and another associate was stocking shelves. I’m really disappointed that my store can’t get it together because it could be great.

    Love CVS pickup! The first time it didn’t work for me either…said it was something with their system. It has worked the last two times though- it’s so nice not getting my 2 year old and infant out of the car and dragging them in!!

    I love CVS but their curbside is awful. It would have been faster to get my toddler out of the car, taken her to the rest room, read a magazine and bought my item then it was waiting in my car. No one ever came, they had to call some one.

    Well sure enough I texted I was here, and waited 10 minutes and no one came out. I then had to cart the baby inside and go wait in line. The manager on duty said well we have a line and are busy. Then when she went to scan my barcode she said oh nobody signed into their device so she didnt even know I was waiting there. The cashier working didnt know what to do which is why I got passed onto the manager. I called the 1-800 customer service line and they forwarded my concerns and I should receive a call. It is much more hassle then it is worth it seems for most of us.
