HI ALL! This is Erica, one of Collin’s sidekicks, and I just wanted to share with you THREE reasons why I love the these popular Munchkin 360 Degree Sippy Cups! If you’ve tried them before, you’ll likely agree.. but if not, listen up! 😃

NUMBER 1 ➡ These cups do not leak!

So yes… if your toddler tosses these cups 15 feet across the house at full force, there may be a small splatter or few drops may fly out; BUT, if these cups are tossed in a diaper bag or upside down, they do not spill.

NUMBER 2 ➡ The 3 pieces come apart!

I have one rule about sippy cups in my household – if I cannot see all the parts of the sippy cup that my kids are putting in their mouths, then I am not interested in purchasing the cup.

As you can see from the picture above, these cups come entirely apart, so there are no tiny spots for water to accumulate and mold to grow. I love that I can get to every single part of the cup to keep it nice and clean!

NUMBER 3 ➡ My kids can’t bite the nipple off!

Until I discovered these cups, my youngest child had bitten the nipple off of VARIOUS sippy cups. And on these… well, there’s no way to bite the nipple off since there is no nipple. 😀

I love these cups too! They have made the transition to a regular cup so much easier!

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Happy to hear you love them too Mary!

  2. Tori

My daughter never really liked those. We LOVE the kid Contigo water bottles. They are heaven sent. Seriously. Awesome. ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

      Awesome!! Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Jamie

      Yes. We love these too!

    • CO Mama

Just returned 2 Contigo Kids with mold in lid that was not in an area I could see or clean without compromising spout. FYI. Going to give these a try. Thanks!!

      • Cara

Mine had some molds too .. I called company and they sent replacement rubber seal for free

      • Shop624

I saw mold in these cups . Carefully clean the tiny holes !!

  3. MK

Question: I had similar 360 cups but my 2-year old could very easily untwist the top & thus empty the entire contents. ๐Ÿ˜‰ How easily do these cups come apart????

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Hey there! If these cups are tightened all the way, a toddler should not be able to twist the lid off on their own. Neither of my toddlers have been able to twist the lids off. Hope that helps! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • MK

Thank you! I think we’ll try these. Hopefully it was just the brand we had that easily untwisted.

    • Suz

My just turned 2 yo cannot untwist these cups. It goes on pretty tight.

    • Corey

Sometimes I myself have trouble getting the lids off! Absolutely LOVE these cups, and we started with the small version with the handles for my LO.

  4. Erin

We love these too. My toddler feels like a big kid and I don’t have to worry about the mess.

  5. Natalie

They also sell a stainless steel insulated version as well. We love that in TX!

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Wow! I did not know that… thanks for letting me know Natalie! You’re awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • SJ

The stainless steel cups are brand new! Only released in the last couple months! Going to be great for summer trips!

  6. jen

My Little girl never did really like these and she would sling it cause of that and liquid would go everywhere, even just being dropped there was alot spilled.

    • Amy

      Same thing happened with ours

  7. Dana

I’ve read they are one of the dirtiest brands. The top part doesn’t come apart for easy cleaning and gets mildewy. ๐Ÿคข I have trouble with that with sippy cups that have complex valves that can’t be cleaned easily.

    • Krista

These are the easiest cups to come apart. You can easily clean and see each piece. I saw one post of a mom finding mildew but she wasn’t popping off the ONE simple silicone piece—the only piece that you need to remove to clean. These are by far the simplest and easiest to ensure no mildew on the market!

      • bremoeller

I would have to agree. I did not know the silicon part came off. That is how mine grew mold. Now that I know to do that I have not had a problem. HTH

  8. Joanna

Agree, my toddler throws it off the kitchen table and it splatters everywhere! So my experience with these cups is that they indeed do leak and splatter. Annoying! ๐Ÿ™
Other then that problem they are pretty great, but that’s not something I personally want to deal with . So on to search for something similar but better ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Elisha

My toddler tosses these too and the top soft plastic falls off and it spills everywhere. We like the sassy brand of these cups.

  9. T

OOT, does anybody have redbox code? TY!

    • AG

This one is a BOGO code I’m not going to use. 7JRN63WF

  10. Jillian

4 parts, you must remove the thin circle seal to clean it, it molds super easy. And they do splatter when tossed.

  11. Alli

They leaked/spilled for us every time they were dropped. We moved on to a different brand since my one year old puts down her cup a lot. Too messy.

  12. Danielle

Babies R Us had a 3-pack for $9.99 a couple of weeks ago!

  13. Jessi

We use WOW cups, same basic product but only 3 pieces. They come apart easy for a thorough cleaning and they only spill a tad bit it they fall and land on their top. My toddlers haven’t been able to take them apart.

    • Heather

That’s what we use and they are amazing! Highly recommend and they’re the same price in Amazon!

    • Chelle

Good to know. I have these and every single time they hit the floor there’s a huge spray of milk. And my 2 year old figured out how to stick his fork/spoon under the lip so he can pull it off. Kids are always up to something lol. I have a smaller The First Years one that stays together better, but it leaks too. Pretty sure there’s no such thing as a real leak proof child’s cup. I’ve got 8 years worth of children’s cup use under my belt too.

  14. L.G.

I never had issues with mine and I’ve had them for a while. I make sure when I put the seal on the white part and push down that it clicks and I screw it on tightly. No leaks whatsoever.

  15. Krista

These are also highly recommended by doctors and dentist to prevent liquids from passing by the front teeth.

  16. Candace

My kmart has them. I’m going to pick one up for free with points next time I go. I was already thinking about using some points on them.

  17. Jessica

I find that mold grows in the clear band area around where the cup seals shut. And that band is so tight that it is not cleanable.

    • J.

I “roll” the band off everytime I wash, once it dries, just slide or roll back on.

    • Leavesbegintofall

You can pop it off easily with a butter knife! ๐Ÿ˜€

  18. Jessica

Silly putty and the lids of these cups do not mix. Guess how I know this.

    • visitor3

      Hahaha

  19. ros

I TOTALLY LOVE THESE. My breastfed baby didnt like the bottled breastmilk when i was away. He only takes it in this cup.

But, in my experience they are not totally spill proof in the diaper bag. If you have a ton of stuff inside and the cup is upside down while something is pressing against the lid, the water just seeps out. Its happened to me twice, but i do realize its more of my bag organization….

  20. Shop624

I had these cups for my kids . Please remember to clean them daily or you will easily get mold from these cups . The rubber mouth piece easily attracts bacteria and I was disgusted to see black mold in the small tiny holes . I wouldn’t recommend anything but water in these cups .

  21. Cate

Has anybody ever tried to drink out of these cups?? I have and it takes a lot of draw to sip these. I questioned them after the 2 kids I watch had these new cups and it was taking them so long to drink. If you have a slow drinker be aware this could slow them down even more.

    • Metronoma

Lol that’s a great jaw muscle workout, then! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    • Mp

That’s the reason I love them! I exclusively breastfeed my kids & usually breastfeeding takes much more effort to drink so the transition was a breeze for them.

  22. Mp

These are the only slippy cups my kids like. We’ve tried many. And I like that they easily come apart for thorough washing.

  23. Sophie

NUK makes a toddler version of this cup. My four year old are notorious for knocking cups over at the dinner table. We don’t have to worry about cups getting thrown, so can’t attest to that performance, but they have not leaked once otherwise. The idea of this cup is genius.

  24. christi321

My baby started refusing a bottle at two months, so when I am away she drinks out of these.

  25. Jenn

Amazon also has the pink & orange cups for $8.99

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet find Jenn! Thanks for the heads up! Just added them to the post! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  26. Jenni

We have several of these and my daughter figured out she could pry the rubber up and pour the entire contents in her lap. Granted she only did that once.

  27. Amb10

All of your reasons are totally true! But I HATE these cups. My twins drop these cups from their high chairs so instead of a few drops on the floor there is a huge 360 of milk on the floor ๐Ÿ™„

  28. Christak

My kids would always knock them on the ground and they would splatter. I saw a parent take one to a indoor play area too and it was leaking on the play structure (not sure if that one was user error).
