    I just don’t know how anyone could stand to eat canned refried beans. I would have to be on Survivor to eat it.

      To each their own! I’ve tried making them from scratch, and bombed. So canned it is. I saute a chopped onion in e.v.o.o. first, then add the beans, a bit of cumin and fresh chopped cilantro to ‘doctor’ them up a bit.
