  1. Maria

    Lego party is so cute.

  2. Happymama

They are all really cute! We just had my little one’s party last weekend and I’m still recovering and have said “Chuck e Cheese next year!” too many times, lol.

  3. Denise G.

I’m doing a Very Hungry Caterpillar party for my soon to be 1 year old next month and I was surprised that Oriental Trading carried the party goods for that.

    • Molly Mi

I did this theme for my son’s first birthday party as well. There are so many great ideas on Pinterest that I was able to DIY a lot of the decorations myself without spending a lot of money.

  4. PDX To OGG Mama

Check with your local library to see if they have “a library of things.” At our library you can check out popcorn & cotton candy machines, baking molds, and other party and misc stuff. I haven’t tried it yet, but so tempted to check out the cotton candy machine!

    • Sara

That’s so awesome! I wish our library had that. Our community does have a tool lending library though that offers pretty much any tool you could need.

    • Shelby

What?! That’s amazing!! FYI, I have access to a cotton candy machine and I will say it’s a bear to make and clean after.

  5. Sofia

I’ll be throwing a bunny-themed bday party for my 1 y/o in June. Thought it was a nice idea to get all easter/bunny items at least half off. Been waiting for target to go 90% off easter items. 🙂

  6. Tam

My boys are having a fireman and police birthday parties soon. I picked up the .99 cent tsum tsum you posted at Jc penny the little Dalmatian dogs. And hit up my target today and got all the items I needed to fill his piñata. And picked up enough of the little police legos that were $1 and change from the Easter clearance. I love doing kids parties they are so fun! Got some great deals thanks to hip2save.

  7. Jamie

I’m doing Clifford the Big Red Dog. Anyone know where I can get plates?

    • Michelle

      They have them on Amazon.

    • Shelby

My 4 year old daughter loves Clifford. This is such a cute idea! I am not having a party for my other daughter who is turning 1 but I’m going to do a small “some bunny is turning one” dinner for us and taking pictures obviously with the bunny theme. My older daughter heard me say this and promptly said for her 5th birthday she wants the theme “one fox is turning 5!” Lol 🙂

  8. Elizabeth

My baby turns 1 on the 4th of July so we’re going predictable with our theme: red, white and blue.

  9. Suzanne H

I’ve done: One is Fun!, Farm theme, Toy Story (garbage truck), construction, Ninjago, Lego, Pirates and this year, per request, we are doing football/Patriots. My husband says everything I do has to have a theme! LOL

    • Suzanne H

I love, love, love the Science theme – so up my son’s alley. That might have to be next year’s party!

  10. Fishingtails

Hey there, great post. I really liked your article. I am a huge fan of fishing. It is really awesome. Thank you my friend.
