My target’s register was having an issue recognizing the coupon vs. item purchased. It would scan just fine, but was telling her no item available for redemption. My cashier had to manually accept them.

This coupon doesn’t seem to be working anywhere. I tried at CVS, and the coupon beeped. Cashier wouldn’t take it so I had her void them from my transaction. Then went to Rite Aid, where Revlon is 40% off. Reg price is $8.99, so $5.39 after discount. The coupon beeped as well, but the cashier was nice to put it through after verifying the wording and date, making it $1.39 and used points to pay. Just didn’t have time to get to Target today, we have some pretty bad weather rolling in, and I didn’t want to get stuck in it!
try Walgreens. Ring them up separately if you’re buying more than 1. At my Walgreens, they are a BOGO. and the coupon wouldn’t go down. Purple Mascara is $4.99
The picture shows buy 1 get 1 50% off but the text says buy 1 get 1 free. Im5just curious as to which one it actually is. Thanks!

My Walgreens had a lot of Revlon mascara marked down to 4.49 so .49 after coupon!!
I got 2 at Walgreens for $.49 each! -(the purple ones ) regularly $9.49 on sale for $4.49 – used 2 coupons no problem. 🙂

My target won’t adjust any coupons down anymore. They told me they no longer do that. If the coupon exceeds the price they won’t take the coupon at all.
Like others have posted, Walgreens has Revlon’s Dramatic Definition (purple cap) on clearance for $4.49. If you’ve got two of these coupons, make sure to have them ring them up separately – Revlon mascaras are on sale Buy One Get One 50% off, so even though this one is on clearance, it’s still ringing up B1G1 50% as well, which means the coupon would exceed the price of the second one if you did it as one transaction.

I went to Walgreens as well, the mascara’s were not marked clearance and were in with all the Revlon make up. I asked the clerk if she could please price check as the shelf said 8,99 for the purple ones. They did indeed ring up

Yes one mascara rang up as $5.99 and the other as $2.99.
So the coupon says limit one coupon per purchase. Does that mean I can’t use two of these coupons in one transaction at Target? I always try abiding by the small print on coupons.
Each mascara you buy is a purchase. If it said per transaction, then no you wouldn’t be able to do two mascara in one transaction and wouldn’t get the b1g1 50%.

My Target said they were limiting that one coupon to one per customers so that people could not do this deal. So frustrating when clearly it is not a violation of the coupon, my Target just chose to not allow it
Thankful that Walgreens was close by, had the purple sale mascara and I was able to use both coupons in two transactions :). Ended up a much better deal then at Target, so maybe I should be happy to have made the extra trip to Walgreens!
Oh wow my target would only accept 1 coupon when I had never had a problem before starting to not like shopping at target seems like they be changing there policy whenever they want lol so frustrating and the best part is when they say we have the right to refuse any coupons 😒

Is it better to pay at self checkout or with a cashier?
Self checkout will still require a cashier to accept/override the coupon. I suggest if you see a cashier you know is friendly, go to them 🙂
Used 2 coupons at target and both works for me. Somehow mine took $8 off for 2 coupon then another $3 for the second one 50% off. $.98 for 2 Mascara for me. Yeah!

My comment is partly related to this post. I too was not able to get this coupon to work at Wal-Mart. I was told by the cashier that their new policy is to not manually key in coupons that are not “official” such as from the newspaper circulars. Internet coupons are maybe now considered “unofficial”. I have also experienced in the past week, “Internet” coupons (Coupons.com, and Kellog’s website) being rejected at Food Lion and other stores. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.
