I literally just bought one of these for my son today at 7-eleven for $8. I’ve seen them advertise a lot on Facebook. My son has autism, adhd, and anxiety so this is good for him. I’m surprised so many kids at his school have them, I was wondering today if they might ban them. I can’t imagine why people are letting their nuerotypical children bring then to school, they aren’t meant to be a toy or a fad.
They are so fun! My son would rather sit and play with his spinner than on electronics. I think they’re great! I do understand why teachers are frustrated, but at home or in the car –they’re fun to have!
My husband asked me if Walgreens sold these since I was going there after work. I didn’t know what he was talking about, until the guy in front of me was buying a few. He got the last ones in the store, from 3pm in just 7 hours my store had sold out of 100! But my hubby didn’t want our son disappointed, so he made him one on the 3D printer. Apparently that week he and his friend were the most popular kids at school because of their custom ones. Our son loves it, but I think he might like one of the “real” ones also.
