  3. Imran

I don’t have the ibotta offer

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! They can sometimes vary by account.

  4. Jessica

I bought these the other day when I had the BOGO coupon.. have been using the toilet ones for about a week, they work great so far! I’m gunna stock up on more!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Glad to hear how well they have worked! Thanks for the feedback Jessica!

This is off topic, but has anyone ever been told by a cashier while paying with coupons, that the prices are so high because of coupons. The comment floored me. I was speechless. Couponing is a lot of work but has great rewards. I am not feeling the love from cashiers lately. I don’t want to give it up like the last time I did because of negative experiences with cashiers. Any help greatly appreciated. Not a good day.

    • Jessica

I have NEVER heard that from a cashier.. that’s so offensive. I’m sorry that happened to you. If someone said that to me it would honestly make me work harder to coupon more.. I work hard for my money and I take a lot of time couponing like many people do. I don’t get why cashiers are so offended by coupons? I worked in retail for 5+ years and I would encourage coupons. I would sometimes even give them out if I knew a coupon was available and they didn’t have one.

      • Amanda

Thanks Jessica for your kind words. You encourage me to work even harder. I think some people just try to take the wind out of your sails so to speak. I too would give coupons to people when I worked retail. This particular incident happened at a CVS. Do you sometimes find you have to switch the location you regularly shop at?

        • Jessica

I honestly can’t stand CVS because I’ve only had problems there.. if it’s a “deal I can’t pass up” I’ll go.. but other than that, no. I once had a coupon that wasn’t going to expire for a month and the cashier straight up told me when she scanned it, it came up “coupon expired”. Based on other readers experience on here, CVS is not coupon friendly. I typically never have problems with coupons at Target, Walmart, and Walgreens. I make sure at Target and Walmart I go through self checkout so I don’t have a cashier argue with me before they even scan it. 95% of the time my coupons actually do go through and take the full amount off, but I’ve noticed at stores recently the coupons will say it needs to be approved before payment, which is never a problem because the self checkout help just looks at my coupons and approves it. As long as your doing couponing right and following the rules and not trying to scam (not saying you are) I think you should keep doing it! Especially if it’s something you enjoy!

      Don’t let anyone discourage you.

      • Amanda

Thanks Zahra! I love this couponing community! You guys give me strength to ignore the rude comments from some cashiers.

  6. Lisa

I can’t stand CVS either I never shop there unless its buying laundry detergent for $0.99 they have the rudest workers I’ve been followed around the store by them because I’m couponing i told my husband I just wanted to say to them my husband makes more than all of you put together it’s like they are rushing me out of the store I have 3 of them around me and it’s always an issue my transactions have never went well plus in my opinion I think they are super expensive I mean you have to pay money to get these eb back it’s not like they are totally free like if you shop at Walgreens you can actually find free items just pay tax

  7. Lisa

Also Amanda don’t give up couponing because of someone else if you enjoy it and love to save money you keep on hun don’t ever let someone else discourage you

    • Amanda

Thanks Lisa! I do enjoy saving money. This is the first time in 3 years that my family has saved some money at the end of the month.

  8. Deb

My CVS is super friendly and accommodating. It’s my Walgreens I can’t stand. They act like they are doing me a favor to check me out and every coupon is a controversy. I have stopped going there.

  9. Liz

This just worked for – bought two, used the $2/2 clip-to-card coupon, paid $4 OOP then got $4 + $0.25 any rebate back from ibotta. $0.25 money maker!

    • Lana

How did you get $4 rebate?

      • Kikisaver

Lana: here’s how…they use the Ibotta app, see link below

Did the $4 from ibotta show up right away? I see that I earned $2 but not the other $2. A $1 a box is still great, but I’m just wondering if I did something wrong. I did buy 2. Thanks!

    • Heather

Same with me, then I received an email that my rebate was processed. It said I could have purchased 2 and got another rebate, so I contacted customer service through the app. I’m waiting to hear back, as they are usually very fast and fair. There must be some way to submit 2 on one receipt, but it wouldn’t let me!

      • wklsunflower

        did you pick qty 2

  11. D

    How do pick qty 2?

  12. D

I contacted ibotta and they kindly credited my account for two.
