Hip tips for creating DIY puffy slime:

  • If you find that your slime is still too sticky after a bit of stretching, you can try adding a little more shaving foam as a fix.
  • To store the puffy slime, I like using small condiment containers. They’re perfect for the kiddos to take small batches for fun on the go!

Directions

1

In a bowl, stir together glue and liquid starch. Add any food coloring if desired.

2

Add shaving foam and stir well.

3

Keep stirring until solid slime forms. If it’s too wet or sticky, just keep stirring and manipulate with hands. You can also add more shaving foam until it gets to the consistency you like.

diy slime using glitter glue

Here’s a batch I made using pink Glitter Glue!

I love that this recipe is very forgiving with exact amounts! To make the second batch, I only had 1 cup of glitter glue and I just sort of eye-balled the other two ingredients without measuring closely. It actually turned out great!

After you’re done playing with the slime, store it in a covered jar, Tupperware, or plastic bag and it will keep for a while! My kids love making this with their friends. I’ve got to say that I actually like joining in too!

So FUN!
