I’d rather pay more money then step foot in my local Target again, the deals never pan out how they are suppose to and they treat you like a criminal with printed coupons lol

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh bummer! So sorry to hear you have not had a good experience using coupons at your Target 🙁 Hoping if you decide to shop there again, that your trip goes more smoothly for you!

    • mel

Sorry you have trouble. Just like every B&M chain, some stores are good, some not so good. I’m lucky that my Target cashiers are really nice. Walgreens though… I’ve had my fair share of issues, so I very rarely shop there now.

This is very true. Some deals are so good that I chance it and look for a nice cashier.. But they have become a hard to “deal” with place. One cashier accused me of purchasing products to resale. First of all – that is not at all what I was doing. I only had 4 of the same item & I planned on using it myself. Second – what if I was? what is it any of her business as long as I am a paying customer at your store? Same cashier accused me of copying coupons too. (because I had two in black/white which were printed at work & two printed at home in color). I had to show her that they each have their own unique number and that is how to tell if something has been copied! Sooooo frustrating and infuriating! I even called customer service and they did nothing. Not one thing. AND made an excuse for her that if they think you are purchasing to re-sale, they have the right to not sale the items to you!!! Sorry – Rant over.

Julie, i remember that always happened to me while i shopped at a CVS in Lafayette In. The lady was so rude and after the 4th time of me shopping there i finally asked her “why are you so upset when all you have to do is scan the coupon?” “I’m the one that should be upset! I take the time to search for deals, cut my coupons, organized them, put my kids in the car, drive here and i’m the ONE THAT HAS TO DRIVE THIS HOME…ooh i know why your upset because you don’t have the patience to understand how this works and/or save money. Sucks to be you. Grabbed my 6 bags of goodies that I only paid $10, strapped by son in the cart and feeling like I needed to get that off my chest rolled all of us to the parking lot. lol

        • Ashley

Raquel if your talking about the CVS close to Target I agree I don’t go to that location anymore for that reason

      • Oshea

I’ve had this experience at Target. I was accused of copying coupons, as they were black & white. I was accused by the associate & then the manager. It’s so frustrating. Especially when you know you are doing nothing wrong & they treat you like your stealing.

      • zahra

I agree non of her business what you do with your purchased items.

      • Theresa

I agree with Julie, but this is in Wal-Mart,u ask a customer service representative, all they can say i’m on break or this isn’t my section.then leave you standing there still not knowing anything

For me is just bad experiences too, I went last week to do the personal care gift card. I bought 3 Clairol hair colors and after I paid , the cashier said “oh in the future if you are going to use coupons you won’t be able to do the gift card deals because the store loses money” I told her that would be like discriminating people that try to save by using coupons and she said I am just repeating what I was told by my manager. Then I said, good thing I do not come to Target any more like I used to, Then I reminded myself that I can save even more at Walgreens without any hassle. For example, Walgreens had the AXE products on sale and I only had to buy $15 to get 5000 points which is the equivalent of the $5 Target gift card. When target wanted me to spend $20.

    • Amanda

I had a cashier tell me it was because of coupons that the makeup prices are so high. How ridiculous! But it really sucks when couponers are treated so badly. I really think some cashiers are jealous of our good deals. Couponing is hard work but it is so worth it.

  2. Dodda

Are the tide pods still on sale for 9.99$ ?

    • Kristen

Looks like the coupon excludes Tide Pods.

  3. Alison

Personally, I’ve switched exclusively to Persil Proclean. I used to love Tide, but I think Persil is a superior detergent, IMO. Not that Tide is bad, but you just can’t beat the clean of Persil.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for your review Alison!

    • Misha

My mom used Tide so I use it also. So the Persil is pretty good? Maybe I will check it out.

      • paula

I have to agree, Perisil is the best!

      • mel

Yes Persil is awesome! It has gotten out some tough set in stains that Tide couldn’t!

      • Amanda

Persil makes your clothes smells soooo good too!

  4. Frankie

Agreed! Some cashiers act like the money from the coupon is actually coming out of their paycheck. Amazon.com is so much easier that right now it just makes more sense for my life even if it’s not quite the best deal.

    • Lisa

Same here. My toddler is usually pretty good while shopping, but waiting at customer service is where she loses it. Then I have to explain things to the manager. That used to be my number 1 store for everththing, now I barely go. Amazon is my go to now.

  5. Amy Stotts

OUCH! Exp. date is 5/24. I printed 2 for my aunt and was still going to print 2 from each of my other devices, but they won’t even get there in time for her to use them. Phew! Thanks for the heads up though!!!

  6. Maria

I only use Persil as well.

  7. Nikkisemperfi

At my local target the 100oz Gain detergents are on sale for $8.99. Does this mean I can use this deal, 2 $3 off coupons and get the $5 gc which would make each jug only $3.49 each? I would use the first gc from the 2 detergents on a second set of detergents, and use that $5 gc on a jumbo pack of LUVS usually $6.99 but with a $2 off coupon only being $4.99, which would be free because of the gc. Does that make sense? Or a better question is would that work?

  8. Lynn

what zip code are you using to get the $3 coupon. Mine is only $2

    • Snowie

Mine too. I only find a $2 coupon

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! It appears to be gone now 🙁

  9. anna s.

$2.00 coupon is only coming up for me as well. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! I am not finding it any longer either 🙁
