We’ve got this, too, and it’s great. You can set it to play music or just ocean sounds, two different volume levels, and you can either have the lights on or off. I put this in her crib at two months and she really didn’t pay attention to it but now, at four months, she loves it!

Absolutely love this and will use for our new baby who will be here in 2 months. The only thing I don’t like about it is it goes through batteries fairly quickly. So make sure you always have C batteries around.

My daughter still likes it at 2.5 years old…although the motor seems to be getting louder….
My son is now 2 and still loves it! It’s been a lifesaver!!! We take it on trips and everywhere. He now uses it as a reverse alarm clock. We watch him on the monitor and when he doesn’t want to get up, he hits the star to play music and fall back asleep, LOL.

I’m sorta mixed on this. I bought it due to all the great recommendations from others. It’s so bright. It’s an eye sore to me in the dark and my son agrees by his reaction. Lol There is a no light option, but then it’s pretty dark and you can’t see the fish move. I wish there was a dimmer option on this. I also found the remote to be useless with the range. There’s an automatic one by v tech that my mom bought that I found comparable and I think it’s normally pretty cheap. I think for this type of item this is still a nice one!! Just my viewpoint.
