If you buy two on Target.com there is a much better deal with the $5 gift card and 5% off subscription.
Oh cool! Thanks for sharing! I am not finding an 8 pack available from Target for lower after gift card.
Thank you! Scored it for $9.72 with a $5 gift card! No other brand of paper towels compare to Bounty for me.
How did you get it for so cheap? I am seeing $32 for 2 with 5% subscribe and 5% redcard. So with $5 gift card, like $13.50 each after GC
How? 16.99 each and u have to buy 2 to get $5 gift card.
Sorry for the confusion. I scored the Amazon deal for $9.72 (didn’t do any Target deals). I had a $5 Amazon gift card. Therefore $5 off $14.15 plus tax = $9.72 for me.
Great score Mina! I don’t find that from Target now as I search through.
The target deal is better but not significantly better, really. We have 6.25% tax (for reference) here in Massachusetts so my deal works out to be:
Amazon: $15.03 (buying one)
Target: $13.79 (x2 since you have to buy two; price includes $5 deducted for the GC).
So while the Target deal is $1.24 more per case (15.5 cents per roll less), you have to buy two cases and you can’t apply the GC until a future purchase. I’m a big fan of the Target GC giveaways but the up front “investment” can get tiresome – they know how to suck you in month after month on these and I end up spending far more money a month than ideal just to grab these deals.
What I did years ago, was collect about 30 dollars in gift cards for my “stock pile”.. Then whenever I was getting a deal that earned a gift card, I would use one I had saved, and replace it with the one I just earned. So after the initial 30 dollars, for the last several years, anytime I get a gift card deal, I automatically pay the lowest price right up front.
Add in your red card 5% discount, helps with tax break.
Ty:)
You’re welcome Laurie!
