I remember when this happened, it was easy for me to notice cause I had no other charges on my account and all of a sudden started receiving a bill. The first time it happened they gave me the run around. But refunded me, then it happened 2 more times. I threatened to close my account and then it stopped.

I finally had to remove my credit card from my account because my kids were able to purchase items even though their Kindles were set to not allow purchases.

They sometimes close accounts without a card on them. On Kindles, you have to set the main parental controls, then go to app store, settings (in left top corner), then disable purchases there as well. My kids have had Kindles for years, randomly click/try to buy everything, have never succeeded.

My 4 year old rented a movie through our ROKU stick twice. I called them and they refunded immediately.
