Yes, 6% here in Michigan. Not everything has tax, but a lot of stuff does, on Amazon! When I used to send things to Montana, it was tax free!!!
amazon has to charge tax if they have a physical facility in your state. thdy originally were not required to before as they operated under their seattle location main office for reporting but had to change for multiple reasons to each facility. sucks but it is what it is.
According to my calculations $0.05/foot. Not a great price.
