I just discovered that dawn has reduced their bottles by one ounce so sad I feel duped these companys are to greedy.
Can someone help? Both Walgreens stores by me have started being very suspicious of manufacturer coupons IMO. They immediately analyze the fine print on the coupons and if it is a deal where I need to use two identical coupons for two identical items they won’t let me use the coupon because it says in all manufacturer coupons something to the effect of “limit one coupon per item per purchase.” They interpret this to mean one coupon per purchase regardless of how many of those items i am buying in my transaction. Other stores (and us couponers) interpret it to mean one coupon per item. I read their coupon policy and it does not address this. It is a matter of interpretation. Most of the cashiers are doing this so the management must be training them to do this. IT is so frustrating because it stops me from getting deals where I can’t separate the items into two separate transactions. How can I convince them they are reading it wrong?
When I face the same problem I carry with me another coupon that specify “one coupon per item” but “only 4 identical coupon by transaction allowed.” I explain that when the coupon say only ONE coupon per item they trying to prevent people to pay one item with 2 or 5 coupons.
Try to be always polite using PR to deal with this kind of problems.
Sometimes staying away from the place for a couple of weeks when you get back they will appreciate your business better. Good luck. 😉
