YAY! So happy to hear that, KT! ๐Ÿ˜€

Instant pot or Cuisinart? Does anybody recommend one over the other and why?

    • Samantha

Everyone in the world is going to recommend the instant pot. Women are crazy for this thing. You can cook meat from frozen.

Definitely Instant Pot. And I say this because it is the much more popular pot which means you’re going to find a lot more recipes and blogs that use instant pot settings which makes things a lot easier. Also, the Instant Pot has a stainless steel liner instead of nonstick/teflon like most others which makes it safer.

I love my instant pot. I ordered this one yesterday so I can have an extra one. Plus had Kohls cash to use! Brought it down even cheaper. Great deal!

Really wish I could find a deal on an 8 quart.

Amazon Prime day should be coming up in July. Maybe you’ll get lucky.

Ordered mine. Been waiting for a good sale price!

Yay! Glad you could snag it Christine!

Did anyone’s order get canceled? I put mine through yesterday, received a confirmation email and all, but just a few minutes ago I received a “sorry, we couldn’t complete your order” email.

Just call them I had to do it before. They will honor everything. I’ve had it happen 3 times.

Anyone have any great, healthy recipes for the Instant Pot or a resource where I can find healthy recipes? I was given one as a gift and would like to use it as I’ve heard people sing its praises but I can’t find any healthy recipes to make with it.

    • type1dmom

There are healthy instant pot recipes groups on facebook. You can also search on Pinterest with those keywords and quite a few posts come up. A lot of them I found are whole 30, etc. compliant recipes and are a treasure trove.
