Note from Collin:

Do you have a product you love? We definitely have many favorite products here on the Hip2Save Team, and thought it would be FUN to share some of them with you! I personally love product recommendations and I’ve also had a few requests from readers, so I have asked each member of the team to think of products they love (cosmetics, kitchen gadgets etc.) and to write up a post that will be shared here every Tuesday. Angie, my sidekick, is sharing one of her favorites today…

Hey all! It’s Angie, one of Collin’s sidekicks!

Anyone like cold, stinky and blistered feet?! Not me!

For years, and all in the name of fashion, I would wear my flats, heels and sneakers without socks. Wearing socks and having them be seen was a major fashion faux pas (reminds me of the Michael Jackson “Thriller” days). And of course, I would end up with stinky, cold feet and blisters galore!

In steps… LINER SOCKS (and NO judging my ugly feet 😃)! Oh, these were going to be wonderful! Finally, something to cover my feet a little bit and provide some protection. Or, so I thought. It didn’t take but once for me to realize that these liner socks (or at least the ones I bought) weren’t going to do much for my problems. The area where I always get a blister (my Achilles tendon), still continued to get blisters as the liner socks just didn’t stay in place. They often slipped completely off my heel.

Then in May of 2015, a reader tipped us off to a giveaway for Keysocks and I snagged a pair! And, have been forever grateful that I did! Keysocks are a knee-high sock in which there is a no-show hole, on the top of your foot and a toe cover. These socks are awesome! And although, I have only tried and own the classic version of Keysocks, they now have a Barely There Nylon and a Winter Warm style, that I am wanting to try!

My blisters disappeared as my Achilles tendon was no longer rubbed raw – it was constantly covered as these socks can’t go anywhere. And, my shoes no longer got stinky as I had socks on and wasn’t barefoot. Plus, my feet are no longer cold – if I choose to wear flats in the winter time, I can and my feet won’t hate me for it.

Any drawbacks to these most amazing socks??

Well, maybe just one… Keysocks have a key embroidered just above the ankle on the back side (your Achilles tendon area). Depending on the length of pants or skirt that you are wearing, you may see this key. To some, this may be annoying but it hasn’t really ever bothered me, I am just grateful to not have stinky blistered feet!
