   I was told that the coupon hadn’t worked for a previous customer so my barista wouldn’t even try.

  I was told the same – didn’t work for someone else so they wouldn’t try. Also told me if it was a valid coupon it would be in my rewards account. My local store is notorious for not honoring the national promos though so I don’t believe them lol

   The barista told me this was a fake coupon because there wasn’t some sort of four digit code, didn’t even try to use t.

   We just used the coupon at our local stand alone Starbucks. We were told that the coupon has to be scanned before the transaction is totaled in order for them to get it to work.

   I had no problem using my coupon. It does say at participating locations though. So not all will honor it.
