My cereal never lasts long enough to get stale. Anything else I can use this for?

    • Workaholic

Besides trash can in car 🙂

    • MomOf2

I use them for rice, pasta, goldfish, nuts… hope that helps. 🙂

    • Kay

I use them to store oatmeal from the value pack at Sam’s Club. I also make my own trail mix and store it in these containers.

    • I

We use containers like this for pantry staples like flour, sugar, pancake mix, dry milk, etc.

      • v

How many pounds of flour/sugar can you get in each one? Bagged sugar I’ve been buying lately aren’t sealed properly. Always getting sugar leaks onto the floor and counter from the bottom of the bags. This could work for me, with a scoop. So very tired of stepping on sugar granules that have leaked from pantry to counter.
        Thanks

Yuck! What a pain. Thanks for the deal Collin! I ordered 3, two for cereal and one for the car. I’ll repurpose my current dollar store cereal containers for flour or pasta.

    • Workaholic

Thanks everyone! I’m going to buy one and test it out with the things I have in my pantry. Really leaning towards the flour or sugar.

    • Heather C

      Costco sized flour or sugar

  2. Pat

I can never find the option to ship to store or pick up in store on the last two walmart deals. How do you choose to ship to store. The only thing I have available is shipping to my house. Anybody know where the link is?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hi Pat! I’m wondering if that option was not available on those items for your store. If available, you should see the option listed when going through checkout. Hope this helps!

      • Pat

Thanks Collin. I guess you can’t get it shipped to any store in Central Arkansas. LOL

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          Darn! YW!

  3. Pat

I can’t use the link above cause I am at work. I can open walmart.com and find the product though but there is no ship to store option or pick up at store option.

  4. Faith Plaisance

When I click on sight it says $10.89 plus $6.98 shipping? What am I missing here?

    • Brenda

You have to go all the way to putting in cart, signing in, then choose pick up in store and price will change in cart at that time. You can’t go back to change quantity then though, so order as many as you want first.

  5. Brenda

I use mine to organize my sewing room supplies and set them on the shelf. One holds elastic, one cording, one snaps….you get the idea.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great idea Brenda! Thanks for sharing!

  6. tony

Got mine using it for cat food storage great price thx

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Tony!

  7. Susan Vasaitis

After you sign in to your account it will let you click on the pickup option.

  8. Cassie

I keep our cereal on the fridge and it literally lasts forever. And it keeps the milk cold!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh awesome! Thanks for the tip Cassie!

  9. lovedeals

It will be on sale for $8.99 for 3 pack at Costco from 7/17

    • CJ

that is a good deal, wish we had Costcos around us, they seem to have good deals (that I see of course on Hip2Save)

  10. Rachel

Thanks for sharing! Great idea for camping, home, car, etc!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Rachel!

  11. Shannon

Thank you! I’ve been waiting for this! I buy cereal at Costco and it comes in those big boxes that don’t pour out. And then someone always opens both bags. 😑

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh perfect! Happy you can grab this for your cereal Shannon! YW!

  12. Gracie

Was able to get 3 with in store pick up. Thinking of using one for my laundry pods. See how that works.

  13. v

I’ve been using these to store my extra/seldom used kitchen knives in. It gets heavy so I keep in in a lower cupboard . No young kids in the household so no worries of them being a danger.
I folded a washcloth to put inside the bottom to keep the blades from puncturing the bottom of the container. Styrofoam can be cut and put inside the bottom to protect from punctures too. I just haven’t taken the time to cut up a piece yet.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing how you have used them!

    • Jean

I keep my extra knives stored away too (though not in one of these containers).. Wanted to share that I wrap each knife blade with newspaper.. looks a little less ‘evil’ to me.. 😅 and I can easily pick out the knife without worrying about cutting myself..

      • jodi p

That’s a good idea, I store my long bread knife, and my microplane grater, inside a flattened paper towel tube.

  14. Sara

SAMs also has these 3 pack for $8.98 through the 16th.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Sara!

  15. Linda

I got a knockoff of these containers at the Dollar Tree. They work fairly well to store things that I do not use as often nor need an airtight seal, such as a trash can, storing grains, storing random kitchen utensils.

  16. Elaine

    Out of stock ;(

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing Elaine! It is gone from Walmart but still available from Amazon! Hope that helps!
