Just bought this on 6/29 for $129. 😕 LOVE the larger size. If anyone is on the fence about 6 qt vs 8 qt, highly recommend the 8.

    • Kimberly

This is me…I cannot find the 8qt when I am out shopping to be able to see how much bigger the 8qt is. I did buy this and am so excited to get it.

  2. Aimee

Kohl’s has it for $100 and 30% off for everyone! I bought it when I got a 40% off and I highly recommend it!

    • Megan

I only see the 6 quart for $100 on Kohl’s, not the 8 quart.

    • Erica (Silly Sidekick)

Hey there Aimee! The Instant Pot on is actually a 6-Quart pot, not an 8-Quart pot – so this deal is a bit sweeter with it being a larger size! 🙂

    • Krissy

      30% off doesn’t apply 🙁

      • Beth

The 30% code is not valid until the 14th. Hope this helps

    • Katie

Doesn’t work with the Kohls code when I try and apply it

    • Aimee

      Oops…my mistake! 😉

  3. Krissy

Does anyone know if you can use the 8 qt pot to cook eggs and cake? I only see that feature on the 6 qt pot.

    • Jess

Sure you can you just have to manually set the times!

  4. Rebecca

Anyone waiting until the 9 in 1 goes on sale? Not sure which one to get since this isn’t the latest model they have.

  5. Hazel

I am waiting for the 9 in 1 version. The cake, eggs and sterilize make it worth it for me.

  6. crystalsnow

There’s suppose to be two other types of electric cookers on sale today toO. One by cosori, which is supposedly good too.

  7. Aileen

If you order it through Alexa, you get a $10 credit to your account.

  8. Anu

Is this like a pressure cooker? Haven’t figured out what an instapot is.

    • Becky

Yes, it’s a pressure cooker. I have this one after much research. Go with the bigger 8 qt for sure. I love it. The Instant Pot has some 12,000 reviews, no one one comes close. I have a family of 7, and this size was the right choice for us. Cooked a whole chicken in 20 min, plus 15 to release the pressure. Amazing. You can even cook foods from frozen in no time too, which was the biggest perk to me because I forget to take things out for dinner. Anyone who is on the fence about is this purchase is worth it, do it!

      • Anu

Thanks Becky. I have a digital pressure cooker. And a large one too and love it for my family. Guess I don’t need an insta pot then if it’s the same thing.

  9. Lynn

Just keep in mind, the 9-in-1 only comes in a 6qt version. I’ve been waiting for the 8qt and happy I saw it on sale today. 😁

  10. Nicole

Looks like many other stores are sold out of the 8 qt. I’m guessing maybe they got it price matched?

  11. patricia

I have the 8 qt and cook for me and my husband and eat leftovers the next day and love it.

  12. janismasonlist

It’s only my husband and I, would it still make sense to purchase the 8 quart!?

    • RZ

no…go with the 6 qt. I have a family of 4 that I cook in bulk for often…I use the 6 qt with no problem. Also, accessories and parts are much easier to find for the 6 qt vs the 8 qt.

    • Nick For

I have the 6 quart for my family of three. I have made roasts, eggs. cheesecakes, pasta and a half ham (this weekend) with no problem. I have no regrets buying the smaller size for our family it seems perfect for our needs.

  13. crystalsnow

Hey yall if you order through alexa, the price is $90 but you get $10 back in amazon credit. So essentially $80.

    • Colleen

So if I understand what you’re saying right, you have to own an Alexa, and order through it to get the $10 back?

      • crystalsnow

Yes..alexa can be found on a fire kindle, amazon phone, echo, etc.

  14. Tracy

I qualified for the $5 credit if you reload at least $25 in your account. Then using Ibotta it gives 5% cash back. So essentially with the deal + credit and cash back, even with tax, it even comes slightly lower than the prime day deal! Awesome!

  15. Dana

I saw that if you use your Amazon store card , you get 20% back as statement credit. Can we verify that? I did order the 8 qt this morning on my Amazon card, so hoping that was correct.

    • Crystalsnow

Not on all items, there’s a page that listed the items that qualify for the 20%

      • Dana

Yes. And I think one of them is this pot. I was wondering if someone could confirm that

  16. Jenny

I bought an instantpot and love it but am having trouble getting it to come to pressure. It heats up but won’t get pressurized. Anyone have suggestions to what I may be doing wrong?

  17. Heather

It’s showing $130 for me. Am I missing something?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It appears the deal is over 🙁
