Note from Collin:

Do you have a product you love? We definitely have many favorite products here on the Hip2Save Team, and thought it would be FUN to share some of them with you! I personally love product recommendations and I’ve also had a few requests from readers, so I have asked each member of the team to think of products they love (cosmetics, kitchen gadgets etc.) and to write up a post that will be shared here every Tuesday. Hannah, my sidekick, is sharing one of her favorites…

Hey all! It’s Hannah here, one of Collin’s sidekicks!

At some point in my mid-twenties, everything I knew about my skin completely changed. I used to have an oily to combination skin type, but now I feel like I have dry, winter skin all year long, and it drives me crazy! With that said, I have tried quite a few products and am always very open to suggestions.

I saw these Up & Up Facial Buffs in a YouTube Tutorial and had to give them a try! If you like really abrasive exfoliating products, you will love these. These little slices of heaven will only cost you $1.99 for a pack of 12 at Target! Unfortunately, not every Target carries them in store but you can order them online here. These are also great combined with body exfoliators (perfect if you’re prepping for a self-tanner!).

Speaking of self-tanners…

I tried this Brazilliance Skin Rejuvenating Maracuja Self Tanner recently when there was a really great promo code and it came with this Limited Edition Scrub Clean Cleansing Set. I gave the Travel Frixxxtion Stick 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser a try first. After applying it to my face, I used the Cleansing Cutie Scrubber before rinsing and I absolutely loved it!

Although I have seen these facial scrubbers everywhere, I am not sure I would have ever purchased one had it not been included with the set, but I am so glad I gave it a chance! My skin feels so refreshed and I feel like all of my makeup is really coming off (versus my usual and very lazy routine of using makeup remover wipes).

We often post great deals on these scrubbers here at Hip2Save, and I will not miss out again!

Last but not least…

Here’s what I personally think the holy grail of cool exfoliating products is – the O.R.G. Mineral Peel! I was hesitant to post about it because talking about the exfoliation process is just kind of gross in general. However, it is such a great product that I feel like it would be a shame not to share it with others!

This product immediately exfoliates dry patches and dead skin and just evens out your skin. There is nothing in this peel that feels abrasive which was one reason I was initially a bit hesitant to try (I normally like very abrasive exfoliators). Once you begin to massage this into your skin, all of the dead skin instantly comes off. As an added bonus, there are no parabens, sulfates, alcohol or harsh fragrances!

The only downside is that it comes in a sprayer type bottle and the liquid is very thin and runny – so the spray method did not work for me. I spray this product in my hands first, then apply to my face and get much better results.

Also, this is a bit on the pricier side and can range anywhere from $20 on Amazon (3rd party seller) to $44 at, but it lasts forever (you can see in the picture not much is gone from my bottle and I have been using it for months!).
