Won’t work anymore; sold out 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, maybe check again in a different browser Or hop on a desktop if using a mobile device. I still find the offer available! Hope this helps!

I went in today to redeem my voucher. I ended up upgrading to executive membership and getting their store Visa card (since we only have a master card). I will be receiving $60 cash card in the mail. It’s like getting the executive membership for $60

    • Karen

We were offers a $40 cash card if we upgraded… we turned it down since we don’t shop enough to make it worth it. $60 would have been a nice deal…

      • E

I did the same thing! The associate said it was $60 only if you upgraded AND got approved for their visa

      • Rae

If you take the upgrade but dont make the cost of the membership back in rewards in the year they will refund it back to the standard membership cost. We have done this MANY times and by the executive membership again.

        • E

Rae- the associate did mention this too but she also said it was a one time thing? Have you ever had any issues doing this multiple time? TIA

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Cool! Thanks for sharing!

    • Jen D

The associate at my store tried to hard sell us on upgrading to the executive membership and getting the store visa too. It was pretty annoying. I really don’t want or need another credit card and we ended up just sticking with the gold star membership. She did waste a boatload of our time however going on and on about how the executive membership + visa option “just makes sense” :/ lol

Executive membership has been SO worth it to me, and I’m not even shopping for a big family! If you don’t earn back a rebate equal to what it cost, they’ve been willing to refund it in the past. As you think about whether you’ll make the upgrade cost back, think about whether any of your vehicles needs a new set of tires (they have great prices on Michelins, and a good installation service at Costco), whether family members need glasses or contacts (Costco has a top-rated optical shop per CR), hearing aids for senior family members, whether it’s time to upgrade your cell phone or computer, etc. ALL that stuff counts when you buy it at Costco, so it’s surprisingly easy to make Executive membership worthwhile. The executive rebate is also unusual in that if you get a $50 rebate and use it to buy a $10 item, they’ll give you $40 back as cash at the register.

Oh—and if a mortgage re-fi is planned for this year, Executive members who refi through Costco’s mortgage program save about $600 in fees on a mortgage that’s already one of the cheapest in the business. We shopped around, and no one could come close to the Executive deal Costco offered when we refi’d. That alone paid for the upgrade cost that year. It’s one of the not-well-known perks of membership that can be worth a lot of money.

The Executive deal on ordering checks through Costco’s website is also about as good everyday as the promo deals Collin posts from time to time at other places, so you never need a promo.

Searching for anyone who has the $50/$150 American Eagle coupon who wont be using it! Im looking to update my fall wardrobe and the coupon would help so much! I will pass on the coupon karma the next chance I get. Thanks! heth_jill@hotmail.com

Try Groupon. They have the same promotion.

    • refunktion52

Neither of the sites works for me. It processes and congratulates me and then immediately rejects it. 🙁

      • Melissa

I just purchased one on Groupon and it worked for me.

  5. BOBY G

Can i add my friend under another household member?

    • Brittany

Only if they live with you. You have to have a valid ID with their address matching yours.

      • Jen D

That’s interesting, my fiancé and I live together but our IDs don’t match (both still have our old addresses on our licenses – oops). We didn’t have any problems signing up together at all.

  6. Kate

I had been waiting on a deal for a CostCo membership! Thanks!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect! You’re very welcome Kate!

  7. xxxxx

Have a Kohls reward of $5. Looking to trade for Best Buy reward…

  8. Ashley

It just frustrates me that Costco and Sams Club do promotions like this for new members. Why not treat the loyal and current members once in a while?

    • kim

that’s what i was thinking too.

    • jan

That’s why I switch back and forth 🙂

  9. Tricia

I had a membership that expired at the end of May. Would I be considered a new member? If not, can my husband sign up as a new member?

    • Heather C

No for you, yes for your husband

  10. Sue

I couldn’t get it to work on either Living Social or Groupon…Must be sold out? Has anyone got it to work today?

    • Melissa

I bought one on Groupon this morning with no issues.

      • Sue

I think I finally got it! It kept saying there was a problem with my payment. Hopefully I get the Link.

        • Sue

Nope! Still didn’t accept my payment. It says it goes through then they email me that there was a problem with my payment. I’ve tried several credit cards and even through paypal. Any suggestions?

          • refunktion52

Mine never did work. I spoke with their customer service, I spoke with my bank, and still, neither site would work. I ended up creating a brand new groupon account and then it worked.

            • Sue

I tried to open a new account and it’s still not working. It keeps saying that there is a problem with my payment. I’ll try again later. I want to get this deal.

            • refunktion52

Mine kept saying there was a problem with my billing address. Super frustrating so I feel your pain. I hope it works for you! Worst case, maybe someone else could buy you one using the “as a gift” option and then you just pay them? That was going to be my next move. Good luck!!

  11. Jenn

I just did it ten minutes ago on living social. Perhaps try again?

  12. kerly

this work for me few minutes ago!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad you could snag the deal!

  13. Sasha

I just bought one on Groupon, no problems!

  14. Andrea

Does anyone know if my husband has an account and I have the secondary card can I sign up with this deal?

    • Kim Bell

      Wondering the same thing!

      • Rachel

Did you guys ever figure this out by chance? Thinking about this deal. It’s back. 🙂

  15. BOBY G

Has anyone bought from ebates (Groupon costco) and claim $10 cashback under new member?
