I saw a woman at Target ahead of me today, and she spent over $100 on school supplies. Yikes!!

I saw a mom at my target spend 175 And I had just came from office depot spend less then $5.

I saw on the news that the average K-12 parent spends $6xx on getting a kid ready for school. Excuse me? Crazy! I’m way under that for two older kids including name brand shoes, first day and picture day outfits, laptop rental fees and the basic supplies.

Liquid glue at target was 2.99. Why?? It’s 50 cents right next door at staples

What is the lowest price lined filler paper can be found for? Thanks.

    • Anu

Good question. I would like to know as well.

    • Sandra

Filler paper was 1 cent last week at Office Depot.

      • Obler

WOW!! a penny is amazing. I don’t know of an Office Depot near me. I saw .85 at Walmart last week. I have yet to go looking this week. Thanks.

I found mine at staples for $.50

      • Obler

I do have a Staples near me. Thanks.

I have a $10 off a $10 purchase at Staples, does anyone happen to know if I can use this with this deal (and spend $5 to get it to $10)? My kids are too little for school, but I have a ton of teacher friends who would love free supplies!

You can make goodie bags out of Crayola markers, colored Pencils, and crayons..add in a notebook and you can give them out during a birthday party….maybe do a Crayola themed party for your kids.

    • Miggy

I used it! But I spent $13 so I only had to pay like $3.

I don’t know about your coupon, but I had one for $5.00 and it is on regular priced items only. I was a little disappointed that I could not use it on an item that was regularly 3.99 and on sale for 3.49. The register would not take it. Your store may be different or they may override it.

Too bad I just spent $20 at Walmart on school supplies. Not sure if I need anything else.

I received a $10 off School supplies coupon from Staples after I purchased my sons school supplies. I went back and used the coupon to stock up on art supplies for my pre-school age son and extra school supplies for my older son.

We usually like to replenish their school supplies in January (crayons, colored pencils, markers, folders etc) since they are worn out by then. These things are not on sale in January. I like to buy them now and save for January 🙂
