Own an Instant Pot?! Here are 6 Accessories I Use Often…
Own an Instant Pot pressure cooker?
If the answer is yes, then you may want to check out these six popular accessories that work well with Instant Pot pressure cookers! Some of them you may even already have in your kitchen.
I’ve had my 6 Quart 7 in 1 Instant Pot for over a year now and am enjoying learning to cook with it. Here are a few popular Instant Pot accessories I’ve found to be helpful.
1.) Instant Pot Silicone Sealing Rings
If you’ll be cooking both sweet and savory dishes, consider having extra sealing rings on hand to prevent flavors and smells from transferring. They fit easily underneath your Instant Pot‘s lid, and can help make sure your dessert won’t taste or smell like garlic! Just designate one sweet and one savory, and swap them out accordingly.
2.) Stainless Steal Steamer Basket
Check to see if you already own a steamer basket that’ll fit inside your Instant Pot. If not, this expandable steamer basket works great with the Instant Pot and folds down for easy storing afterwards. It works nicely for steaming fresh veggies, and making hard-boiled eggs.
3.) Instant Pot Mini Mitts
These small waterproof pinch mitts make it easy to grab the lip of the Instant Pot inner pot to easily pull it out after cooking. They can of course also work for grabbing lightweight baking sheets from the oven.
4.) Instant Pot Tempered Glass Lid- 6 quart
Having a glass see-through lid opens up the functionality of the Instant Pot by allowing you to see your food while cooking when NOT using the pressure cooking function, such as when slow cooking and sauteing. I like using the glass lid after pressure cooking to keep food warm for serving instead of the heavy pressure cooking lid. Also, available for the 8 quart size here.
5.) Spring Form Pan for Instant Pot Cheesecake
One of the advantages of Instant Pot Pressure cooking is the diverse meals and dishes you’re able to cook with it. Cheesecake is a popular dessert discussed often on the Instant Pot Facebook group, and THIS Instant Pot Cheesecake recipe seems to be extremely popular.
If you don’t own one already, this 7 inch Non-Stick Spring Form Pan fits perfectly inside the Instant Pot. You can also use it to make lasagna and meatloaf right in your Instant Pot!
6.) Handheld Immersion Blender
No need to transfer food to a blender if you have a handheld one! I like using my Cuisinart Smart Stick to conveniently make soup in the Instant Pot. Check out this recipe for yummy Homemade Baked Potato Soup!

Do you have a good recipe for the meatloaf and lasagna? Thank you!
awesome …I have all of these on hand except the springform pan. I’m wondering if it can cook rice without water leaking out the bottom…is the seal tight on it?
Hmm I think yes –
But you can use another stainless pan for rice
